I had their duck confit after a day at the Louvre and it was so good that I returned the following night for their Magret de Canard which was also fabulous. Service was friendly and attentive.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Steak frites and crepes were some of the best we had on our vacation! Quick and friendly service.

A typical and good street corner restaurant near the Louvre on Rue de Rivoli. Friendly staff, good service, good food, good portions. One appetizer cheese board, drinks, and three main courses totaled about 90 euros. Nice place, good location for just hanging out, people watch, and relax. I recommend and I would visit again.

Delicious. Fast service -- nice staff -- good food. Better this than going to any fast food place -- just right!

Very good food, fast service and pleasant atmosphere. The beer was hugely overpriced at €8 for 500ml and the glass of wine at €11!!!!! Be careful to check prices before you order alcohol otherwise your bill will skyrocket.

We've had a lot of very good Croque Madams (and Monsieur for that matter). What we had today was the BEST we've ever had in Paris. A special thanks to Gwen (at the Camper shoe store just across the street) for the recommendation. Go to La Cooperative, have the Croque Madam...you won't regret it!

We only stopped for a snack and decided on ham and cheese on toast. Our order was taken very pleasantly, served up promptly, was a little special compared to UK cheese on toast, was a large portion and tasted great. Since you can't ask for anything more, it has to deserve a 5 rating.

We came across this lovely restaurant on our final day in Paris. We were just wandering after walking through the Jardin des Tuileries and the place looked very traditional. The waiter that served us was very welcoming and helpful in deciphering dishes into English for us. Our meal was delicious and we could have stayed longer if we weren't leaving... More

Our hotel recommended La Cooperative for our dinner, and we do not regret it. We were welcomed beautifully and seated in a warm and friendly dining area. We had foie gras and paté de campagne for starters, steak frites and magret de canard for a plat, and shared a dessert du jour. It was all delicious, and our service was... More

I found this brasserie on our way to lunch with my colleague and came back a couple of time as service was good and fast and food quite classic but very well executed

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
