Aki's prix fixe menu delivers the most sensational food experience. The dishes were prepared to perfection, so much so that the scallops are so exceptional that Aki's is the gold standard against which any other scallops dish is compares and rated poorly. The first experience at Aki was so good that I had to go back 6 weeks later, making... More

The owner, Akihiro is cooking his 5 course degustation menu right in front of the customers, and a lovely assistant is serving the dishes, and explaining them. The seating is maximum for 16 people. That being said, we liked the fish dishes. The desert was, well.., you know... Anyhow, one of the nicest restaurants in Paris we have visited..

An all fish restaurant in Paris run by the owner and his assistant in a tiny room in the 7th is a real find. The fish is impeccable, the presentation is absolutely beautiful and the experience is one you look for but seldom find. Did I say we loved it? If you like modern fish presentations then this place is... More

This is a restaurant for people who love fish and appreciate the finest ingredients prepared simply with creative accompaniments. It is a prix fixe menu - five courses. All the courses follow each other in a way to build on enjoyment of flavor and texture. Don't expect dishes that puzzle or amaze through innovation. That is not what Aki is... More

The restaurant is quite small with only 16 covers so need to book well in advance. Although the restaurant is considered branché, I think the locals are straining to find someting new. The food is good but not truly memorable. For dinner, a set menu stating the equivalent of "whatever the chef feels like cooking for 75 euros". This means... More

I ate here on April 19, 2016. There are a number of Japanese chefs now cooking French food in Paris. Many bring the concept of Kaiseki---fussy bits and pieces tasted independently rather than as one dish---to French cuisine. The chef Akihiro Horikoshi does something different: the day I went, he created small, beautifully balanced variations on the theme of fish---a... More

This is a small jewel in Paris, Chef Aki prepares each plate by himself alone in an open kitchen of this very small place ( only 16 people seated). The food is only fish based, but every one of the five dishes prepared for us, was tasty and excellent. Just be prepared to have only fish, if you are expecting... More

I had the chance the have lunch a the 3 michelin stars restaurant - l'Ambroisie, some years ago, and it was incredible. When I found out that one of its former chief, was running is own restaurant, I was really excited to go... and I have to say, that for me, La Table d'Aki is one of the best restaurant... More

You have to be a brave and excellent chef to present such clean and natural fish dishes and he is. The flavours are pure, clean and fresh. The execution simple but extremely skillful in a very minimalist restaurant. The food was great throughout and the desert was so light that it complimented the meal perfectly. I would give the food... More

I think this table is really japonaise in his philosophy and very french on his fooding! It is a perfect work with a lot of respect respect for ingredients and good taste around the french tradition. So precise! Maybe a service a little bit more friendly... Maybe a choice of wine more "natural"... Just my point of view. Not a... More
