We went there on a Saturday night because it was the only restaurant with still tables available. We both got pesto pasta, the pasta was from a box and undercooked (not al dente, just undercooked), and the pesto tasted like the one I refuse to...buy at the supermarket because it’s not pesto. There was not enough sauce hardly any Parmesan on the pasta... I don’t know how an Italian restaurant can screw up something so simple as pesto pasta but they did. To add to it the service is meh and the restaurant is dirty I had to change forks twice, the cards were sticky somebody from service de propreté should probably check it out... save yourself, don’t go there.More
Honestly this restaurant has the best food especially the pizza I’ve ever eaten, clean restaurant, great chef, everything is nice and neat
We had been looking for a specific restaurant that we couldn't find and therefore stumbled across this pizzeria by accident. It turned out to be a great find! At first we hesitated, as the only customer we could see inside was an elderly lady most...likely living in the neighbourhood. But since we were hungry, and it was already well past 9pm, we decided to give it a try anyway. The owner (Italian) was very welcoming and cheerful, and the pizza turned out to be cooked to perfection, as I haven't often seen outside of Italy! After an initial glass of champagne (at an amazingly low price for Paris), we ordered some house wine, which was equally inexpensive and accompanied our pizza very well. While we were there, some more customers started to arrive, and it appeared that this is clearly a place popular among locals looking for excellent but inexpensive Italian food in a cosy and cheerful atmosphere, hence the neighbour feel, which you won't get in a restaurant that tourists flock to. It turned out to be just what we had been looking for. Absolutely loved it!More
If you really want to taste italian in Paris, for sure you have to visit this place. The owner, Gigi is Italian, from Napoli!! Passionate and crazy at the same time, a good friend!! If you can, taste everything....pasta, pizza, meat... and for the closure...tiramisu and amaro!! Just... amazing!!More
Please try to avoid this place! Not only the pizza seem to be reheated (flavourless and the crust was too firm, I had problems to cut it with the knive), but also the prices were rather high, even for a pizza in Paris. And the...best - be aware that this place has two different menus ! Same products, but different prices !! Without any explanation, we first got a menu with "normal" prices, and a couple of minutes later, when we wanted to choose another drink, we got another menu with the wine being on average 6 to 7 € more expensive (per bottle) than before. When we asked about this, they told us the first card (with the cheaper prices) had never existed ! And also, the prices for the food vary - our table received a menu with food more expensive than what is displayed in the entry - here again, no explanation. I was actually quite upset about the whole experience.More
Little Italian trattoria in the 11th quarter; the owner is very nice and the service was quick (the restaurant was almost empty) the food is average, nothing to write home about - nothing really bad.
