We were staying in a hotel just around the corner from this restaurant & out of the 2 pizza restaurants close by, this looked the nicest. We arrived & were quickly greeted by the waitress & given a window seat. I guess she knew we...were english but could tell we wanted to try and speak french as much as possible so helped us with this by taking our order speaking very simple french even the kids could understand. She spoke to another table in good english so i'm sure if we asked she would have accommodated us. The restaurant had about 7 tables with guest on. It was nicely decorated with a couple of tree's in the middle (that looked very nice) and some background music. The menu was pretty good. My daughter ordered the kids menu of cheese & ham pizza with ice cream to follow. I ordered the 4 cheese pizza & my son ordered the 3 Ham pizza. Drinks were swift, although mentioned below as over priced, they were similar to those i'd had in paris, so we only had a drink each, plus the table water. House Rose was very nice. The food arrived after about 20 minutes. The pizza's were large & my daughter's children's pizza was nearly as big. All were lovely. I'm a big cheese fan (especially anything blue) and the pizza was probably the best cheese one i've had. Son & Daughter both enjoyed theirs too. My daughter never eats her whole plate, but did here! We were quite full afterwards so we didn't order a sweet, when Liv's ice cream from her kids meal came it too was quite large so her brother had some. When the waitress saw this she bought another spoon so they could share it. The staff were very friendly & attentive. A man, i'm guessing it was the boss, bought my wine over & made a joke of giving it to my daughter (she's 10). Liv thought this was very funny. I really like eating out where the staff also make a fuss of my children. They really enjoyed eating here. If i was in this area again, i'd definitely go back to this lovely restaurant. The price of around 10 Euro's for the pizza was good. The children's meal was excellent value at just 7 euro's. Totally recommended.More
