Friendly staff and two screns (not too big, unfortunately) to see the matches. Place was quite full, but they did all their best to accomodate everyone. I just had some chips and some wine, but really nothing to complain about
this corner café has new young directors. Au Moka has always been a great meeting place for the people in the 15th....Plat de jour starts at 11:5o euros and is always good
...the bar for cafe or drinks is always full of locals. enjoy the...local vibeMore
We visited Paris again last Fall with friends. They booked a charming hotel for all of us. Imagine our surprise when we arrived & discovered the hotel was around the corner from our last visit and again, only 3 blocks from. Cafe Au Moka!
We...visited several times for a snack or meals, and many more times for wine & drinks in the evenings. The regulars were always friendly and welcoming. It has become our little cafe away from home and we'll visit again with each trip to Paris!More
Simple but good spot if one is looking for a fairly typical French cafe de quartier.
A bit nostalgic since I lived on rue Violet about 45 years ago. Happy to say that little of importance has changed in that neigbourhood since.
The fare is...good and well selected, the street scene is busy but interesting (a bonus: the older aerial "subway") , the staff and the clientele are quite authentic. Worth the detour from, say, the Eiffel tower visit.
Great old-timey and authentic pictures from the '30s on the wall.More
This neighborhood cafe in the Eiffel Tower area was one of the highlights of our Paris experience. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the neighborhood folks welcomed us Americans with open arms. We went there at noon awaiting for our rooms to be...ready at our nearby hotel. However, after meeting new friends from several countries including the U.S. and drinking much wine, we left five hours later. LOL.
We visited most nights and watched the Euro Cup three nights rooting for our fellow French team. The food is great and the atmosphere awesome. I long to return.More
The friendly staff made room for us even though there was practically none. The food was good and came very quick. Even better they made alterations to dishes for us without a fuss and I can only recommend.
Staying a few streets from this place and we spend 2 evening with locals.
Typical French bar good service. Nice owners and we eat once price quality ok.
Very easy to get walking distance from the Eiffel Tower
We’ve never tried, so I cannot say. We usually sat outside or in the bar area and fortunate that there was always an open table when we visited.
There is a dining room to the left & behind the bar, as well.
