I went to the Bowler to watch a Premier League match on a Monday evening. 5 screens were showing the game (although 2 of them are pretty small) and it was Sky with English commentary so all good on that front. The service was friendly and fast - not surprisingly they all spoke excellent English. I wasn't drinking but there... More

My wife and I were looking for a place for a quick meal and a good beer. We split an enormous burger here. The fries shrimp appetizer was really good too. They had some NFL football on the tvs. Good find not far from our hotel in the 8th.

Looking for a friendly place where everyone, well at least the bar staff from the prior night, know your name, then visit the Bowler. Great atmosphere and great beer just blocks from the Champs Elysee.

We found this little gem on our second night in Paris. It was just up the street from our hotel and turned out to be a great neighborhood pub. The first night we stumbled into a going away party for a regular that was just a lot of fun. The bar staff were knowledgable and could make some interesting little... More

We found this great pub on Google maps looking for a good atmosphere and happy hour. We certainly found it! Lovely bar staff, happy to speak French and or English, we had cocktails and beer. Cocktails were excellent and they have a great range of beers on tap. Even better was the prices for Paris off happy hour and awesome... More

+ Everyone speaks English + they've got draft beer and Ruinart champagne (by the bottle only) + good bar food (burgers, fries, chicken nuggets, fish and chips) + if you like sports, they've got tons of screens and an international crowd

Expensive at €8 a pint, but other than that it's decent beer, perfectly acceptable pub food, and the atmosphere for the football was really good; with different nationalities mixing brilliantly. I'd definitely go back .

Used to go there almost every week for about 10 years on Friday after work. Come back after 5 years. It was like second home, now it is s very unfriendly environment with terrible waitresses. Unfriendly staff. Manager should teach waitresses to smile and to say thank you or hire other waitresses who know it is the base to have... More

Nice place but very poor waitresses who pretend to know about the French law when they don't have a clue. You pay (6€ for 1/3 a beer) and they throw you out for no reason even if you didn't finish your drink. Poor service. A pity because it's nice place.
