Yesterday we had a wonderful evening in this great wine bar. After some bottles of wine and perfectly cooked food we can't say more than thank you for this evening. For us it's a 5 star review worth. We love the concept of tasting the...wine before you order the bottle. If you are interested in having good wine and food we recommend this place at Paris. Thank you so much!More

The bar offers wine by the glass and an assortment of cheese / chorizo / salads etc made to match the wine. We came around 10 PM and the service was fast, professional and warm. Wine and snacks delicious. Would come back when in the...area.More

Tres bien. First night in Paris and me and the Mrs check in at the hotel and decide to have some wine and cheese! The place was near full but we managed to get a table. The wine was beautiful the cheese and meat was...wonderful but the company was first class. Bilal was very kind to us and was very professional. Would definitely recommend this place!More

The bar à vins can get busy, it is a good sign. You will have plenty of wines by the glass to pick from. The aiters know their wines, it is a plus, just ask for theiropinion. They also have some good artisanal French and...foreign beers. Appetizers and planches are available. Good quality food. Nice neighnorhoodMore

We'd passed this bar a couple of times after eating out and it was always very busy with what seemed a predominantly younger crowd so we gave it a go early evening before eating when it was lot quieter. There's a wide selection of wines...by the glass or bottle, beers and spirits and they also do cold platters. The barmaid couldn't have been friendlier as we were trying to find a restaurant to eat nearby and asked her advice - she asked her colleagues and also looked on her mobile but was not able to suggest a specific restaurant but confirmed the Rue Montorgueil was as good as anywhere around, One tip - they reserve tables so if you want a seat later in the evening probably best to do so - I don't think you'll be disappointedMore

L'Ivress is a great wine bar + French tapas restaurant. Whether you like wine or not, you will find the wine that suits you! The concept of this bar allows you to tell the waiter what kind of wine you'd like to drink (red or...wine or rosé, but do you want it dry? Sweet and fruity?...), the waiter will help you choose, and will make you try the wine before offering you a full glass. Also, they offer "Planches" which are basically French tapas: a board of cheeses and/or hams to eat with bread and butter.More

This is truly a great place to go to relax with friends. The location is nice and central, the staff is exceptionally great and the choice of wines is impressive. The staff makes you feel right at home and are very knowledgeable about wines. To...top it all off it is not expensive and then charcuterie and cheese platters are yummeeee! I will definitely be returning there.More

Visited L'Ivress for a drink before dinner at Frenchie down the street. There's a fun happy vibe especially on weekend evenings, with people hanging out with friends, drinking wine, having a bite. Nice buzzy street full of eateries & a nice vibe. We just had...a glass of a glass of Chablis before we left so can't comment on the food. But will be back for another evening, another glass of wine.More

This is a great local bar just of the main tourist beat. It is popular with the locals and when we were there many tables had been reserved for a birthday party. There is a good selection of wines and beers to accompany a platter...of cheese, meats or vegetables, or a mix of the above. The staff will let you taste wine before selecting a bottle to drink. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. I would definitely go there again.More
