After a long and tiring day of sightseeing we were welcomed and made very comfortable here. Great food, ambience and the best mousse I think I've ever had.

My wife and I came here upon recommendation of hotel concierge. The menu was diverse and it was easy to find something for both of us. The oysters were very good and I wished I had ordered more than the 6. The steak tartare I ordered was a large portion and combined with a nice bottle of wine made for... More

The restaurant has both interior and exterior seating. The exterior seating is in the Passage Vivienne, one of the the delightful 19th C Parisian passages. We have enjoyed meals here over the years. A particular draw is their steak tartare, which unlike many we have encountered in Paris, is not overdone with red peppers and other spicy additions. It is... More

My husband and I had a lovely meal here on our last day in Paris, We had the scotch beef and it was beautifully cooked and tender and the brioche and caramal was amazing if not a little large. The staff here are very attentive and friendly. I would certainly recommend this restaurant

I had an amazing scallop dish while here. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The baba au rhum was also delicious, but quite strong! This is such a lovely bistro in a quaint area. The service was helpful and attentive, but not obtrusive. They spoke English, which was much appreciated! I loved my stop at this bistro. Highly... More

We went for dinner in this French bistrot, and we get a good meal. The staff are friendly, you can't complaint about food, it is good. This a typical french bistrot, you fell the "warm" even from the owner. You can spend a quality time there.

An atmospheric, typical old style French bistro, oozing character and charm. Entrance is via an equally charmingnold archade. The food was pretty good. I had carpaccio of octopus, followed by Dover sole meuniere (I asked them to drop the almonds and apple). The octopus was tasty, especially the strongly flavoured olive oil that came with it, the sole was plump... More

We reserved a table for Christmas night and were seated in the dining room separated from the cafe by the arcade door. Ambiance and service were good. My son was pleased with his Nordic plate (except for the Bilini's) but the 2 of us who ordered the Veal were very disappointed. It was tough & therefore not enjoyable to eat.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
