This is a good restaurant in a very elegant room. The service was fair. It seemed better for customers who appeared to be regulars. The food is good. An excellent selection of fresh seafood is the specialty of Lorraine. This is a very pricey restaurant...More

It was a rainy weeknight but restaurant was full of business diners. I had the rockfish soup and it was saltier than I'm used to but seemed to be normal for Paris. The seafood main dishes were good. Overall portions quite big.

Used to be a classic in Paris. Now, it's more for people from an eastern country, got very expensive and service is not so good anymore.

We searched Trip Advisor for a seafood restaurant nearby Arc de Triomphe and was recommended this one which is just about 500m from the landmark. We got a table by the window which gave us a good view of Place des Ternes. We picked 3...More

I’ll be honest the oysters were good but the crab starter was simple and nothing special. I had the langoustine ravioli which tasted unpleasant and the langoustines has not been cleaned, they still had the black vein in them. When the waiter asked how my...More

Brasserie La Lorraine restaurant right on Paris Place des Ternes near the Etoile offers a visit to another era, an elegant, superbly stylish one at that. Since the 1930s Brasserie La Lorraine has been one of the capitals landmarks, and it retains its fabulous Art Nouveau interior with hundred year-old mosaics, crystal chandeliers, sleekly styled seating and detailing (think ocean liner of the Noel Coward era and you wont be far off). The classic brasserie menu features fine ingredients in dishes like fresh oysters, grilled entrecote with barnaise and pommes frites, and babas au rhum, though the seafood is renowned for its excellence. Theres a terrace and everything is service with the personal touch.
