Had dinner here on Easter Monday. I had the crab salad appetizer which was excellent. For the main course I had the grilled Scottish salmon which was very tasty. It was served with vegetables and was delicious. I had a glass of the Chardonnay which was a Chablis and it was one of the best glasses of white wine that... More

My wife and I had a great experience at Brasserie Lorraine. We started with a dozen of the best oysters, then followed it up with the salt-crusted sea bass, which may be the best fish I've ever eaten. Paired with a (fairly) reasonably priced bottle of champagne, made for an unforgettable meal. The ambiance is fairly casual, you will see... More

We found this Brassiere near our Hotel. Sat outside on a balmy April evening. Exceptional busy for a Sunday evening but the waiter worked hard to ensure everyone's needs were catered for. Great seafood as promised. But a special treat the Soufflé and Cheese to follow - simply delicious. A great find.

This is one of the best meals of sea bass, I have ever had in a restaurant! The bass, their "signature dish" is prepared incased in coarse rock salt and then baked yet it is not at all salty! Once the staff breaks open the now solid crust, the fish is very moist and flavourful. Our group of three went... More

My mothers friend recommended that we come here at some point over our weekend away. I checked out the photos on Tripadvisor and decided it would be worth a shot. Well....The service is super efficient, very friendly (particularly a bubbly French lady waitress who couldn't have been more friendly and smiley). We ordered oysters and they were the most delicious... More

We went there with friends and had a seafood platter Lorraine and daily menu. The oysters and snails were delicios, but maybe not for everyone's taste. The menu was good, also, but on a different topic :) The service was impecable, including the suggested white wine. Definitely a place to came back to

This restaurant has the real "French style". The decor, the waiters, the food. The staff is very friendly but professional, they give good advices and the food is just excellent. Definitely a place to try.

This is a very traditional brasserie in the west Paris, located in beautiful square des Ternes surrounded by flower market. The place has been continuously modernized and offered very professional service and good seafood and in particular oysters. I personally think that it miss a little bit charm and that for a rather expensive place you have to much diner... More

Brasserie La Lorraine restaurant right on Paris Place des Ternes near the Etoile offers a visit to another era, an elegant, superbly stylish one at that. Since the 1930s Brasserie La Lorraine has been one of the capitals landmarks, and it retains its fabulous Art Nouveau interior with hundred year-old mosaics, crystal chandeliers, sleekly styled seating and detailing (think ocean liner of the Noel Coward era and you wont be far off). The classic brasserie menu features fine ingredients in dishes like fresh oysters, grilled entrecote with barnaise and pommes frites, and babas au rhum, though the seafood is renowned for its excellence. Theres a terrace and everything is service with the personal touch.
