Adorable and helpful waiters, good food and noce place to sit, drink and observe a life on a street. Very good ratio pricing/value.

I came across this lovely Parisian-chic bar/restaurant while exploring the immediate neighbourhood near my hotel. Although quite busy the waiter found me a pleasant table with a nice view of the restaurant interiors. My waiter (clearly channelling the late Freddy Mercury) had good English, was...friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The menu was of managable size with typically French bistro food. I chose an entrée and a main, with a glass of house red. Two things stand out. Firstly, the quality of the food is exceptional and thoughtfully presented. And not expensive, for Paris. Lastly, sometimes solo dining can be awkward, but here I was treated well, with a good table (for 2 really) and good service. The French take their dining out seriously, and a single diner is unexceptional; everyone must eat. On a return visit to Paris, hopefully a bit longer, I will seek out this place, even if staying in another locale.More

We just had a very nice dinner at L’Adresse. It is well located, within 5 minutes walk from Place de la République. The place is clean, has flair, friendly staff, delicious French fried, tasty meal and good bier. Don’t miss the Kwak, bière ambrée! We...went to much more expensive and highly rated fancy French restaurants the 2 days before, but L’Adresse - a totally blind choice - was WAYS better! The bill was acceptable.More

My husband and I had dinner there with another couple. The place is really nice and cozy. We ordered shrimp ravioli for starters," mont d'or" for mains and lava cake for desserts. The food was very fresh and absolutely delicious!!! And they have happy hours...on almost all tap beers everyday besides weekends( in Paris it matters!). We had a great evening!More

Good local restaurant , a beautiful brasserie. The bar man was very helpful even though we did not have much french. He gave us a beautiful bottle of wine and the steak was excellent quality. Would return

L’Adresse is situated near Arts & Métiers metro station. In a prominent place at the corner of Rue de Turbigo and Rue des Fontaines du Temple. We are a family of 4. Once we passed the elegant bar counter we found a table at the...back of the long room. Stylish black setting, baroque decor with chandeliers, paneling, mouldings, gilding, colored paintings. Cozy atmosphere, we felt somehow like in a theatre foyer. Our server was friendly and efficient. Brasserie cuisine was decent with a large choice both on the daily menu and a la carte. We chose vegetable soups, eggs and mayonnaise, cod fillet with lentils, roast chicken with fries, rhubarb tart and gourmet coffee. With a jug of Brouilly. We had a good lunch at a good address.More

We were hungry late at night after travelling on the Eurostar, and stumbled upon this French pub & restaurant near our rented apartment. What a great find! It was pretty full, but we got a table for three (two adults and a toddler), and the...menu had lots of great choices. We chose a duck foie gras starter and mains of roast chicken and orange duck, along with some red wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Everything was very tasty and of great quality, with little touches elevating the meals (lovely sauces etc). The staff were cognisant of our tired toddler, bringing her out some fries and ketchup without asking, and fussing over her a little. The prices were very reasonable for what was much better food than we expected from a 'pub-style' place. It looked like it had a good bar too, and would be great for couples, friends hanging out for a meal or late night drinks, etc. There were lots of dishes on the menu I would have happily ordered (they had snails appetisers and lamb shanks mains, among others). Happy hour starts at 6 PM when a number of cocktails and beers are discounted. We have spent several early evenings here just unwinding from our day and enjoying the local ambience near our apartment. Our server recognizes us and runs up to us with...a big beaming smile and shakes our hands as we arrive. She speaks English but is happy to let us work on our French by talking to her. It is just extremely pleasant to feel so welcomed. We haven't eaten here but we will. We have not had a bad meal in this neighborhood!More

Enjoyed a great meal here, I had the lamb and my boyfriend had steak tartare, both were lovely. We were sat outside, a bit of traffic but quite a nice "paris feeling" to it. Service was great and prices fair :)

Family of 8, enjoyed a variety of dishes. But must rave about the onion soup which set taste bud records for the 3 in our party who ordered it!
