I went here for a drink with my partner. One of the men who worked there (Seemed to be the owner or manager as he was barking orders at the rest of the staff) was clearly disgruntled that we were not eating and just drinking,...even though we were invited in off the street by staff for happy hour. I didn’t hesitate in purchasing two of their exceedingly overpriced drinks. As we were midst drink, he came behind my partner, placed both his arms around her neck to remove the cutlery, hitting her hard in the head on multiple occasions and pushing her further down against the table. He was quite aggressive in his behaviour and didn’t apologise. When we complained to our waiter, he just excused the behaviour and didn’t take the complaint further. Really poor service and I wouldn’t recommend. Whether it’s blatant homophobia or simple frustration at the fact we weren’t buying their (also overpriced and underwhelming) food choices, that kind of behaviour is never acceptable.More

We bought 2 of the set menu for fondue. It was supposed to be around 57 euro which is roughly $60 and I have a reciept they gave me. I get my credit card bill and they charged me almost double!!!!!! Unacceptable. Bow I'm in...a month long fight with my card.More

Everything was fine and friendly as we were beckoned in, but the pizzas we ordered were awful- the base was practically raw and the topping was heavy handed and tasteless. Stupidly, we had some of it as we were cold and hungry but it was...practically inedible, though we didn’t feel we could complain-(idiot brits!). Never ever go here to eat! We paid for location and ambience, nothing else. Shame.More

We stopped here after riding the Open Bus Tour for a couple hours, as we needed to warm up and have a bite to eat. Even though we were seated in a tented area, they had outdoor heaters going and it was very cozy. It...was also cozy because everyone sits so close together and there is straw on the floor, adding to the atmosphere. We had the Nuevo Beaujolais and ham and cheese sandwiches, which were very good. The wine was excellent. We enjoyed watching all the people, who seemed to be locals for the most part. It was busy, yet relaxing. We liked the French atmosphere. Like everywhere else in Paris, the toilets are downstairs.More

What a waste of time and money. The food is tasteless, the service pathetic and the tables are so small you can barely fit two plates on it. Absolute tourist trap.

We enjoyed the food and drinks. Service was also friendly. Unfortunately they allow people to smoke at the table and service personnel also smokes in front of you. Not so nice.

The food was pretty average which was to be expected by the decor and location, but we were there for a quick bite to eat before returning to the sights of Paris. It wasn't until we decided to pay for our meal that we thought...something was suspect. The waiter informed us that we couldn't pay by tapping our phone and that only card would do. So we obliged and handed over our card, he quickly tapped the card and handed it back over. Upon leaving something didn't feel right, we had no receipt and no idea of what we had just been charged. We knew our bill came to €31 so we decided to check our online banking. We had infact been charged €50, the waiter had seemingly helped himself to a €19 tip. We returned to restaurant and spoke to manager who then called the waiter over, yelled at him and demanded he hand us over €20 from his own wallet. If you do insist on eating here check the bill and demand a receipt.More

This place is located right by the Notre Dame, so it's not very surprising that it's more expensive than other similar places. I thought both the food and service was below average though. This is probably the kind of place that survives on location alone.
