This place has better coffee and better people watching than cafe de flore! When I studied in Paris a few years ago I always had a cup here before going to class.

Expensive, mediocre food. The service is good, especially considering how busy the place is. I was surprised that many of the other diners were French as I thought it would be mostly English-speaking tourists.

Never ever have I been so insulted by waiting staff, even in Paris. Despite being neatly dressed, very proficient in French, addressing them in French thee staff talked behind our backs answered us in English and assigned us a table that “is good enough for...More

You cannot really stay in St. Germain and miss the Deux Magots and the Cafe de Flore. Of the two, food and service are much better at the Deux Magots; the "scene" is arguably better at the Flore. But, in either case, there can be...More

We went for a coffee break on on saturday afternoon. The ambiance is very great, desserts are exceptional. The service is ok. Sitting outside watching the street is a nice option as well. Prices are high as many other places in Paris. If you are...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is

ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the

I avoid gluten but had no problem eating it in Europe. Monsanto has poisoned our wheat supply in America. I have a feeling that Israel, where you are, gets a lot of our GMO wheat. Unless you are celiac, you may not have to... More
