We are staying at the Peninsula and, while we love the hotel and its amenities, we were looking for an evening of home cooking and good wine. We had heard good things but we're still delighted by our dining experience this evening.

Amazing food, not for the faint hearted. There is lots of òffal on the menu amongst other great dishes. The restaurant appears to be family run and very friendly. The best creme brulee I have ever had. Nice relaxed atmosphere., no airs and graces just damned good food and wine Richard and Liz

My wife and I picked this restaurant at the suggestion of our concierge. The staff could not have been nicer and the meal was great at just under 100 Euro including a bottle of wine. We were definitely the only non-locals in the place and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoy!

When in Paris we are always eager to experience the non-touristy delights of this fabulous city, so on the recommendation of a French colleague we visited this place. The "Cave" part of the establishment is well over 100 years old whilst the restaurant has been open since 1989. The formidable proprietor informed us - in both French and near-perfect English... 4th generation family run. Fabulous food and wine with excellent service. It looks pretty unassuming from the outside but it's a gem!

I discovered this place mainly due to its nice wine list. More Parisien autenticity isn't possible. Straight forward communication. Traditional French food. To small wine Glases (on intense request I managed to get the Riedel ones...). Excellent quality of products (wine and food) and a perfect atmosphere. Twice there. Twice happy. Go for the "unknown" - there is a great... More

Recommend to us as a family run traditional Parisian Bistro Nice menu - typical local French food - good flavours and presentation - hostess was warm and welcoming speaking fantastic English - the son explained the specials of the menu really well and we cannot complain about the food at all - good value for money.... However the service was... More

We visited this lovely restaurant with our friends on April 9th. It was such a wonderful experience. The food, the service, the wine and my house salad was the best I ever had. We traveled from New York and this was our second trip to Paris in the past 14 years. The Owner was so lovely, she brought laughter to... More

The welcome is warm and friendly, but always professional. Every meal is a surprise. A delightful surprise. The list of wines is absolutely gorgeous. The price is in line with the service and the location (Pereire 17-eme)

Owned and lanaged by the Petrissans family for generations, this tiny restaurant is next to the wine retailer by the same name. The wine list is of very good quality. We had a delicious Crozes Hermitage Clos des Grives 2011 (Combier), 59€ which is around 3 times retail price. As usual in bistro-like restaurants, tables are rather small and the... More
