The food is good, the servers are rude, even the owner is rude. I don't really pay attention to that too much, but it was kind of comical. The food is good if you want to try little bits of things for an afternoon snack.

Plenty of vegetarian options and all very tasty. The service was pleasant and quick but they didn't rush us out of the place, even though there was a queue at the door.

We were there and first thing we noticed, they were very stressed and unfriendly. The couple next to us had to wait 40 mins just to order their food. The toilet (only one for the whole restaurant!) Was extremely dirty! And all 3 of us eating there ended up with a serious food poisoning! It was terrible! Please do not... More

An embarrassment to the history of Paris, Winemakers everywhere, and basically all of humanity. Did I say that correctly - yes. The house wine named after her (Marianne) with her pic on it, which is just not right, was vinegar water. Horse watering maybe would describe it? I complained, even paid, and left. The paying was against every fiber in... More

It just a tourists trap, don't go there. We left the place without finishing the meal. Food is awful, hygeny very low and they scammed us on the wine (we chose a chinon and they brought us a hundred times used bottle already opened and with some cheap wine in). Don't get deceived by the nice location, don't waste your... More

We took a table to have a drink. The waiter asked us what we wanted ? Drink or food. We said drinks, she told us to leave. Great service and tone of voice. Never coming back again.

I took a plate of 5 elements among which falafel and tha pastry filled with beaf?tuna (name?). Inspite my big appetite the plate was... More

Super busy small restaurant with fantastic Mediterranean / Levant food. We only had starters and that is really all you need there (although the desserts look good as well). If you are into hummus, baba. Ganoush etc, this is your place! Highly recommended!

I went there today and choose the taste menù...they took us just a few sauces, bread and a couple of felafel. It wasn't bad, but I can't consider it a lunch..maybe a snack! Not going back there!

Marianne used to be a den for the lovers of the deli food NY style, and Israeli food. Today, the district has lost a lto of his DNA, and Marianne too. We consider that the place has some assets in terms of atmosphere, they do the best they can but the service during the week end is not as professional... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
