My husband and I have to been to Chez Paul about 4 times now and usually go for at least one of the daily specials. They're always amazing. I always get the daily soup to start, and this last time, it was a yummy vegetable....More

This restaurant is very good. Very French. It has an authentic atmosphere and is in a popular street that is local rather than tourist. As tourists we didn't feel particularly welcome. We were left waiting for water and for our wine and food orders for...More

What a night! Cyril, from Goralska Residences, recommended we try Chez Paul and he was right. It was perfect. While there were a few tourists, we received a warm welcome and terrific food. Wish we had been hungry enough to have the lamb-for-two (or three).

Had lunch here October 2016. A very authentic Parisienne restaurant with a rustic, classic setting. It's very French, lots of brick-a-brack to look at on the walls. Lots of offerings on the menus, hand-written in someone's flowing cursive adds to the genuine atmosphere.

This was close to vile. A big reputation, a busy house - so what? The food was awful , the prices severe. Starter - raw herring, ok if unremarkable eg. no little bit of mustard or horseradish to accompany. Madame's French onion soup was principally...More

Came here three nights on the trot. The food is traditional French and there is plenty of it. Typical decoration expected of an old bistro inside. The staff were great and happlily switched between French and English, were attentive and never tried to rush even...More

We had high expectations of this restaurant, but were just a little bit disappointed. The head waiter seemed rather hostile at first, when we arrived for our dinner reservation about twenty minutes ahead of time, but warmed to us a little when we informed him...More

I have heard of places like this but never actually experienced it . I may be paranoid but I think they treated me very poorly because I was an American that did not speak French. I had a reservation. I arrived and was moved to...More

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards

Hello. They have a number of separate rooms and so I am sure a Private Dining experience could be organised however I do not know if they would do a buffet or a smaller set menu. Best to contact restaurant directly.
