Part of a group of hip and creative higher end restaurants, this affordable easy modern cafe still benefits from the chefs' creativeness resulting in fulfilling meals and at this price range can't be beat. The chalkboard menu is in English and French, simple fun choices, and you walk your tray of food and wine upstairs to a super casual brightly... More

Not the cheap alternative, but offer a variety of very tasty sandwiches, with worm and crispy bread.

My wife were staying 5 minutes away from Cosi and happened to walk past on our first day in Paris. The menu seemed simple enough. I opted for the combo which includes a drink and dessert for 11 euro. I was not expecting to taste perfection, but thats exactly what my sandwich was!! The bread was freshly baked and the... More

If you want to choke on condiments instead of enjoying a slice of beef or ham this is your place. I don't even know if the meats were all that tasty because of this. The pumpkin bun was lovely though. Moist moist most.

By nearly any reasonable measure, Cosi will exceed expectations as it serves up a quintessential Parisian experience from an unassuming side street (Rue de Seine) off the Blvd St Germaine. Order their plat du jour (including a sandwich/salad, dessert/soup and drink) for 10 euros. Take your meal to a window-side table upstairs, open the shutters, and gain a view of... More

We ate here several times during our Paris stay when we didn't want a heavy meal. Reasonable prices and superb homemade sandwiches and soups!

I lunched at Cosi, ordering a sandwich with zucchini, red pepper and ricotta. The ingredients were fresh and the flatbread wrap was good. However, there were no seasonings at all. While this sparse recipe has good intentions, the only seasoning available in the upstairs dining room was pepper. The sandwich needed SOMETHING to lift it up and I would have... More

This very cosy place, pun intended, has the best sandwich and salad lunch you will find in Paris!! It is located in a very trendy area, and the sister restaurant, Semilla, is also great. Don't miss it!!!

After a long day, stopped by here to get a sandwich with ham, ricotta and walnuts with carrot cake and perrier. Delicious. Also they have some interesting "would you rather" thoughts on chalk boards. Bath in carrot juice or shower in olive oil??

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
