The owner takes great pride in this non-touristy restaurant. We loved everything- from the escargot to the duck to the desserts.

Found this place on internet and booked for lunch. Lovely small restaurant with a very attractive menu for a very reasonable price. The food was really good and especially the foie gras was delicious! But the absolute secret of this place is the two brothers serving the guests! They are the perfect hosts and they know all the local people... More

The food was delicious. The marinaded steak was beautiful and my wife enjoyed the duck. The service was unfussy and prompt. Everything you could ask for in a traditional Parisian bistro.

My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful evening at L'Aubergeade. The food is divine: I recommend the snails -and their sauce of course-, the magret de canard (also the veau is fabulous) and the omelette norvégienne. The restaurant is super cute -very French!- and the crew members are super super nice.

So with 3 non French speakers at diner the waiters made us feel very welcome and tried hard to explain the menu. We got shown every dish as it was being taken to tables before we ordered to show us the menu for real. The Food and wine prices were good, it was not a tourist haunt but displayed great... More

This evening we returned to l'aubergeade with fond memories of the first time we ate here over three years ago. Our memories did not disappoint: the food was sublime, the wine a perfect accompaniment, and the service as warm and friendly as we recalled from our last visit. L'aubergeade is our favourite restaurant in Paris for a reason, and we'll... More

Just visited this evening. Full house at 9.30pm looking to get a table.Menu in French as expected but no English translation. Great atmosphere. Lovely chocolate pudding with orange sorbet. Maybe I should stick to Greece? or learn French

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of this small bistrot. Booking highly advised. Tasty mains, squid, steak or veal stew. Delicious puddings. Owner came round a few times to check all was fine and the waiter was very amiable.

What strike you first, it's the atmosphere full of life. The place is always packed like every restaurant should be, in a warm, positive and friendly way. You really feel people are enjoying the place and the owner is 100% responsible for the good time you are spending enjoying the food. He is a real fun character and you feel... More
