We took breakfast here twice, and enjoyed both experiences. Heaters ensured we could sit outside and enjoy cafe society despite the freezing weather. The French breakfast of Croissant, bread, preserves, juice and coffee was good value at €7.50, and the full brunch including sausages, eggs and bacon really filling. Not worth a special trip, but if you are in the... More

The three breakfasts in other Paris cafés were boring, or overcooked, or both. Indiana Cafe served a great breakfast, great bacon and good service

I wish I had seen these reviews before I went. Indiana Cafe serves bland, uninspired food. The are more interested in getting you in an out rather than making it an interesting experience. There are definitely way better choices in the area.

The food was alright, but not what you come to Paris for. It was rather pricey and kind of a tourist trap. The service was very poor. Make your time with the waiter count. You won't see them very often.

We were duped into going to this restaurant, there are misleading curtains that don't give you a true insight into what you're walking into. When we did enter the restaurant it lacked any charisma, it is essentially fast food. We were served suspiciously quickly, the veggie burger tasted like the bad stuff in the freezer aisles.

There were seven of us and we were paying so we walked here, a few minutes from opera. The Staff were charming and the children loved the smoothies at E6 each not bad for the area. You still feel you are in the heart of Paris and some shops to browse nearby. The food was good and ok for the... More

Slow services, cold coffee. But the hot chocolate is good (and hot). Waiters do not speak properly neither French nor English.

Fine café, But for at couples dinner place it is poor. It was cold because of a wind that draftet through the place. The steak was a bit rubber-Like (in danish sej) , the bearnaise was cold.. But tastes good..

It was Friday evening and I was quiet disappointed from the service. Approx. 2 min. after finishing the meal and clearing the table I got the bill for which I hadn't asked. Food was ok. I won't return. One time is enough. Not to be recommend. Overall impression was crowded and stressed service guys.

I found the Indiana Cafe last summer when traveling in Paris and my family loved it. The kids wanted "normal" food and were quite happy with the menu. I was happy with the prices. This April I took two more of my nieces to Paris and they fell in love with the Indiana Cafe as well. We had fun finding... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
