The escargot appetizer was excellent, but the featured dish of the day, foie de veau served in diced cubes, was bland and uninteresting and accompanied by an assortment of nondescript vegetables. The setting is attractive, and the service friendly.

As a first time visitor to Paris and speaking a total of three words in French ... I was a little nervous I might encounter French disdain. The very opposite was true at this amazing little restaurant recommended to us by our hotel concierge. The staff was very attentive, helpful (translating the entire menu) and polite. The food was fantastic!!... More

Ate here with my bird and pals for a celebratory dinner. We ate razorclams, which were delicious, well cleaned and fresh. Scallops were to a similar standard. All the produce was of a brilliant quality. My main course was the veal sweetbread, which was cooked to perfection. I always find offal as a great indicator both of quality and freshness... More

A friend recommended this restaurant to us and based on the unassuming decor, we were very surprised by how delicious and creative the food was. Many of us had the specials and enjoyed the beautiful presentation. We were a large group with children and teens and the waitstaff was very attentive and explained everything to us in French and English.... More

I enjoyed lunch at l'affriole. On a very hot summer day. gaspatcho cooled me down first. As a main dish, grilled fish with vegitables was very nice. I liked desert as well as guimove with esspresso coffee.

I ate here last night and was delighted from start to finish. I dined solo and was treated with great respect! The salmon tartar was easily the best version I have ever had in Paris. So lovely. The turbot and vegetables were delicious. And the "chocolate" dessert was fabulous, beyond!!! I had a half bottle of good wine and the... More
