Finally, got to L'Ambroisie and, well, the previous reviews probably capture an accurate picture if you read between the lines. Yes, it is supremely French and independently run. So, with that, the debatable negatives... They are probably not as inclusive to international customers as some...More

My husband and i visit Paris every spring/ summer and have frequented six of the city's ten 3 michelin star restaurants in Paris thus far. L'Ambroisie was by far our least favorite *** -- leaving much to be desired. In our opinion, the food didn't...More

Beautiful restaurant on what is arguably the most beautiful square in Paris. Two lovely "salons" followed by a third one where you don't want to be. Service is ultra classic and a bit stiff to begin. Eggs with asparagus and caviar. A combination that can't...More

My husband and I ate here for dinner. The food was very elegant and full of flavour. The service was good also. The ambiance is a little cold in my opinion. There is no degustation menu here so it is very expensive for only entree,...More

The food was nice but not up to the standards of other top notch places- maybe we were fed lower quality food because we are just dumb Americans and I'm only 21. Who knows- what I do know is that we were treated like second...More

I hadn't eaten here for 15 years. It still beautiful and romantic . The service is pure gold - friendly, warm, helpful, attentive and without formality or stuffiness. The food is for this writer, the best there is. I have never had anything there that...More

This was my second visit to l'Ambroisie, and a far more convincing one than the first. The chef earned his 3 stars decades ago as has stayed true to what made him famous. Do not expect the most modern or creative touch, but well-proven timeless...More

Its simply best restaurant in the world. Of course if you are prepared to learn about it and of course pay for it. Chocholate tart is on menu for 30 years and is still without comparison on the entire world.

A three-star experience...I'll leave it at that. Not cheap. The best bottle of champagne I'll ever have. Flawless service. The food is delicious. One of the best meals ever.

The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets

you'll come across little gems of architecture

towers to classical libraries and 17th century
splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of

This is normally a top level 3 stars Michelin establishment. It did not much your taste may be because is really out of the chart of classical tourism in Paris. In 2015, Obama has been invited by French President Holland to this place. Not sure you've captured it !

I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions. It is not "normally" a 3 Michelin star restaurant, it is "always" a 3 Michelin star restaurant. I know the Maitre d'Hotel and I know the kitchens, it is, as I wrote, my... More

As far as I know, you cannot contact L'Ambroisie by email, however, you can telephone: +33 (0)1 42 78 51 45
When is the best time to reserve? I'be called the restaurant a month ago for a reservation on Jan 5th, only to be told that they only take it a month in advance. It's now Dec 6th already, idk if I'd still be able to get a table judging from how popular this place is?
