We called in before checking into hotel for a quick bite to eat. Someone takes your order outside then it's made in front of you in minutes. Delicious, filling and reasonably priced at €6!

Whenever we go to Paris we head there first. Terrific fallafels and other middle eastern food and great service. Waiters are lots of fun and happy to take your photo.

We really enjoyed the fallafel. It was just around the corner from where we were staying so was really convenient for us. My husband liked it because it was filling, I didn't finish all of mine because it is a decent serving size.

We came here for lunch as I am a bit of a connoisseur of falafel and we were in the Marais. There is a takeaway and a small restaurant on a street with plenty of other falafel joints. We had to wait a little while to get a table - food arrives quickly. Falafel was good but not as good... More

We went in to have lunch because we needed to relax a little. We ordered 10 falafels and a a mixed meat dish. The meat dish came with pita bread on the side. First, I was a little surprised that the pita was soft and not "crunchy" but it was warm. After finishing the meal - which was by all... More

I'd heard good things about this place from my girlfriend who had already been, but I was still surprised at how good it was. We visited on a Sunday at about 12.30 and were able to get a seat no problem. The staff were friendly, the falafel was amazing and the eggplant gave our pitas a real oomph. It was... More

It used to be so much better but they changed the recipes about 3 or 4 years ago. I stop by to see if the excellent "Special" will come back, but it's just too bland now: tahini is blah, grilled eggplant not done with enough garlic and grilled in low quality oil. Red and white sauce taste more industrial than... More

The service was a little intimidating - the young men with bum bags out the front spoke only very fast French and were pushy, but I guess that's part of the atmosphere. The falafels are delicious, reasonably priced and very fast. Would return :)

If you're an adventurous foodie this is a must do. Hop in an Uber and head on over to a quint cobble stoned area off the beaten path. Be prepared to wait in line and make a few friends. The line moves pretty fast and service is quick. They have a system here and it works well. Once inside it's... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
