We stopped here for a Sunday lunch. At 12.00 it was fairly empty but filled-up later- booking advised for busier periods. A good choice of food and wine. We started with soup and marinated mackerel. Both very good and tasty. Mains were cod and duck confit. Excellent taste. Our waitress was friendly and helpful; she took great care to get... More

Ran into this place for lunch on our first day and has a wonderful meal of duck and Bourgogne stew. Prices were reasonable and the food was excellent.

Very good place in the heart of the suggestive Montmartre. It is just at few steps from the Artists' square. The onion soup was delicious. The price of the plates was appropriate. The waiter was very friendly and spoke also a bit of Italian. Cool!

Want a fun evening in Paris? Take the M12 to Montmarte; ride the funiculaire (cable car) or walk up to Sacre Couer; stop in for mass or a quick look in the historic church. Then climb their tower for 360 views of Paris. Then head down and walk to the west and stroll through the narrow cobblestone ancient streets of... More

We thought this would be a tourist trap, it was not. It is set in a lovely old building with a large dining area at the back, The walls are mirrored and the decor is old french. You can imagine people visiting in the past going to there to dine and dance.

Had just cycled from London to Paris and my friends and I wanted a relaxed lunch. We got exactly that! The service was very friendly and the owner looked after us very well. Very friendly staff and the food was absolutely fantastic. We had 3 courses and took the advice of the staff in our choices. We were not disappointed.... More

Excellent service in a beautiful restaurant! Food was absolutely sinful. The escargot comes highly recommended. Wine was all delicious from rosé to white & reds. Fish of the day (tilapia), beef, duck were all perfect!

This is Montmarte tourist central. Out the back are long tables to cater for large tour groups. If you can book outside, then do so. Luckily no large groups when we went. Food is home cooked and very tasty. Duck and beef very good. Spaghetti dish for our vegetarian friend ok. We have been travelling and eating out for over... More

OK it was a it touristy but we enjoyed it and the food was good and well cooked. The waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed the whole experience down to the Edith Piaf singer outside in the street. We sat outside and thought it was a great place for people watching due to its busy location in the heart... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
