This restaurant has what must be one of the most stunning interiors of any restaurant in the world. The food is also good. We went for the tasting menu - a misnomer as it's more like a 5 course meal. Foie gras, lobster bisque, sea bass, duck and although somewhat sickly sweet, the most delicious and light souffle ever. For... More

We are here at 100 m from Champs Elysees and among 1000 touriste trap this is what you can get as original true French French food for 50 euros 3 courses ? What else do we need ? Perfect service, simple but perfectly executed food. WoW

We both had the tasting menu. The sea bass and the duck were nice however the lobster soup and the desert were horrible. I could not even finish it. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant.

We had an excellent slightly over the top meal. I'm told the Foie Gras was excellent though not seared as it indicated in the menu. The salmon appetizer was excellent but too large. The sole was amazing with a lot of lemon in the butter sauce. The Grand Marnier soufflé was incredible. The service was good and the decor truly... More

Having been disappointed the previous evening with a Michelin starred restaurant in Paris, we thought we would try something a little more low key. The reviews looked good and this restaurant was recommended in Time Out so we have it a try. First of all we were warmly greeted and seated in the room at the front of the restaurant,... More

Very traditional Parisian restaurant, in unique setting - much like lunching in a winter garden/conservatory with stained glass windows. The degustation menu is very filling - very good rather than outstanding food. Go there for the ambiance in the main dining room.

We were attracted to this restaurant following a trawl through TripAdvisor. The restaurant really is the belle epoch masterpiece we saw on their website. Despite this, however, we felt it lacked a little atmosphere and waiter finesse. The food did not disappoint although the menu is somewhat limited. One of our party tried the tasting menu of 5 courses which... More

The front of house lady was so cold to the core she couldn't even smile, the only word she knew was 'no'. To say she was rude, is a understatement.

recommended by our hotel and they were able to accommodate fairly short notice on a holiday. We had Christmas dinner there. Good was served fairly quickly and filet was tasty and well preoared. Staff nice and attentive even when busy. A good fine and strongly recommend giving it a try. Good location near champs Elysees and George V.

Very pleased to have chosen this restaurant for our Christmas Day treat. We were there as a family of 4, dining early evening. We all chose the Art Nouveau tasting menu at just over €50 euros each ( excluding drinks). For an historic venue, just off the Champs-Elysees, on Christmas Day, this was excellent value for money. Each course was... More

La Fermette Marbeuf 1900 restaurant in Paris just a few steps from the Avenue George V and the Champs-Elysees is also the shortest route into Belle Epoque Paris of a century ago. This jewel of a restaurant, dating from 1898, was rediscovered in the course of renovation thirty years ago and it must have been like opening King Tut's tomb. There are wonderful things here: Art Nouveau mosaic and stained glass sunflowers, peacocks, dragonflies, beautiful women, cast iron pillars, and a soaring glass ceiling. Chef Gilbert Isaac mainly sticks to French classic dishes, like chicken liver pate with onion marmalade, whole grilled seabass flamed in anise, and rhum babas. This is a hotspot for celebrity France to see and be seen.
