I absolutely love the rose petal and pistachio macaroons there. There is a specific pastry named La Religieuse (not sure how to spell it) that is beautiful and delicious. A must go.

In all fairness, my family of 4 ate here with a large group and had a preset menu. We had salmon (I thought fairly dry and plain) and a few other dishes that just were not our typical foods that we would order (fois gras, etc.). I would not recommend the food, but the maccarones are very good. Staff was... More

Dear Nathan M, After having checked, we have no record of a group with a preset menu, at this date, here at the Printemps. Maybe you post your message on the wrong exploitation ? Nevertheless, it excuses nothing for us. We are truly sorry to learn that the food you were served was not as good as it should have... More

I'm not a macaroon lover but these are not your typical macaroons: they are more like a dessert that you wish could last forever. The lemon one, with each bite, is like a lemon tart exploding on your taste buds. You can visit them in NY to try for yourself, but the experience of sitting in Paris on the couches... More

Madam, Mister, We are happy to read that despite the fact that you don’t love macaroons, you appreciated ours. If you are travelling, you can also visit our boutiques in the airports of Orly and Charles de Gaulle, maybe the macaroons will have more chance to last through the return this way ! Hoping to receive you soon, Best regards.... More

It was a small and nice take away branch , macaroons were so delicious, they had fancy decoration and beautiful packaging . The price in laduree was a bit higher than other pastries, but absolutely worth a try .

Dear Ramin D, We are really happy to learn that you had a good moment in our boutique. Obviously you liked the décor and the packaging as much as our macaroons. We are glad about that because we are putting great efforts to create a special atmosphere and to keep a high level of service. Hoping to receive you again,... More

I finally know what they're supposed to be like. Absolutely perfect, soft and crumbly. Definitely need to try these once.

There is no doubt that Laduree is beautiful; the decor, the packaging, the displays, all stunning, but with all things, beauty comes with a price. We visited because of our commitment to try all things delicious and pretty. Macaroons obviously are a French institution, and Laduree consistently tops the list of places to sample. Don't get me wrong, the macaroons... More

Ladurée is a French high-end bakery and sweets shop known for their delicious macarons. The boxes and containers of the sweets and the décor of the store is equally impressive and beautiful. Everything here is pricey but worth it I esp love the Eugenie Tea. I’ve visited their stores in Brussels, Orly Paris Airport, Champs Elysées and at the Printemps... More

Had the opportunity to purchase some macaroons for takeaway. These macaroons are super delicious. Given their high prices of 6 macaroons for 17.80 euros...I expected these to taste amazing. They were indeed amazing and reached my expectations! The staff were helpful in describing and recommending the flavors. Overall yes I would buy these again. Pricey but almost certainly solid choices.... More

An institution like the Eiffel Tower, Laduree is a must for any visit to Paris. We usually need to take a break after walking all over the city and this cozy nook in Printemps was a welcome place to rest for a while over delicious tea and the inevitable eclair :)

On our first visit to Paris in June 2012, we were in Au Printemps just browsing when we came upon Laduree. We'd never been to one ever. Their beautiful display filled with macarons of various flavours and colours was enough to get our attention. I bought the circular box and it's enjoyable to choose your own instead of pre-packed. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
