But service is not what you would call friendly probably on account of the place being open 24 hours so we will try to forgive them that.

Rating on the basis of the other meals in our dinner group. I was flying to US the next day and thought ordering a vegetarian option for dinner was better. I was wrong the vegetables were terrible but my salad and dessert were very good....More

Although it is located at the busy touristic area, this Café seemed not filled with bustling tourists (certainly compare to the famous Café de la Paix). Whether you have a cup of coffee in the morning or a French onion soup for lunch, everything was...More

Initially I didn’t feel we had a great welcome but our Egyptian waiter turned it right round. We had lobster bisque and avocado with crab to start then we both had the salmon fillet - all was very very nice. Bordeaux white wine was perfect.

Chose this restaurant as it was close to hotel and it was late. We thought we were lucky to get a table for four as the restaurant was busy. Starters were okay but expensive. Then came the mains.....steak got sent back because it wasn’t cooked...More

Typical parisian brasserie. Very stylish. Red bordeaux is the predominant colour. The medium plateau Royale was very good. Salted butter and bread were fantastic. The sea shells and giant crab were superb. The service could be improved. Expensive.

We visit the place at any of our visits in Paris. Nothing changes through the years. It looks like you look the same movie you like. Our suggestion is to select all the traditional French Specialties. Our preferred ones are: Soupe d' Ognon and Magret...More

I've been to this restaurant a couple times, the most recent in February, always on business. The oysters are fantastic and very fresh. The food has always been great, but only ordered seafood. I would have given 5-stars, but it's a very large restaurant, near...More

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,

modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros

I wouldn't consider there to be "a good selection". Though there are some things a vegetarian could choose on the menu, I'd recommend you find another restaurant. There are much better options nearby.

Bonjour ! No dress code , this is a tourist area ! Maybe on a Saturday evening , you would be expected to wear ''formal but casual '' as you may see people coming from the Opera in the winter !

The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.
