Steak was rubbery, appetizer was lackluster. Quality of the food was at the bottom; worst restaurant we visited. And the prices charged made the experience that much worse. You've been warned, stay away!!!!

As a Paris & France travel writer, I look for dining places that are delicious, affordable, and accessible. I found Le Mesturet on my trip last month to Paris. I find it to be a local favorite in the 2nd arrondissement near the Opera--and a...More

French entree/mains that include steak, steak tartare, cod, eggplant, and chicken. Pretty limited children's menu. Good reasonably priced wines. Slow (but typical French service) which is ok with me, but a bit tiresome for children ages 5-13

We'd visited this restaurant on a previous visit to Paris and was not disappointed second time around. The restaurant was busy, but the staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Lovely traditional French food and a great choice of wines.

It is a great traditional French restaurant with a good price. They provide excellent services in fluent English. We have been there many times in past three years. The foods are always delicious with real traditional French cooks. Some dishes are special French styles that...More

Really enjoyed the evening here and the atmosphere was the best of the 6 or 7 places we had dinner in Paris. We were a party of 7 - six adults and one 2-year-old and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed the pumpkin soup and...More

We had a nice dinner here, prompt service, English menus, Great French dishes. Feels like a real Parisian experience. The Aubergine dish is a great starter, Avoid the Paris Brest dessert.

The waiters here were very helpful and friendly. One of them explained the food to us and recommend Calf's Head wrapped in its tongue as we want to try something French. We also had the salmon tartare for appetizer (special menu of the day) which...More

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle

Description
Le Mesturet is a classic Parisian bistro located in the heart of Paris between the Grand Boulevards and the Louvre Museum.Passionate about what they do, Alain Fontaine, the owner, and his chef, Pascal Brot, are the creative forces behind Le Mesturet’s traditional French cuisine. With the help of their energetic dining room and the kitchen teams they have created an exceptional restaurant where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. You will love our typical French dishes, home-made desserts, wine menu filled with discoveries and bistro atmosphere. We have two air-conditioned dining areas available for large groups, anniversaries and other events: there is our main dining room, decorated in a cosy “old Paris” style, which seats 86 as well as an additional dining room that seats 30. Welcome !
