Staying locally for a few days i asked my friend to suggest . He said Le Murat was the best by some way but alittle pricy .I was too tired to research more and just went .And was glad I did .Food was excellent and...service even better .Just alovely exerience .Classy clientele and no evidence of pomposity and pretentiousness .Went back several times ..thats how good it isMore
This is Paris’s epitome of continuous Joie de Vivre! The restaurant is superbly located in Paris’s hippest corner of Porte D’Auteuil. Food and drinks are always exquisite (and generously portioned). But what makes us regularly go back to this place is the personalized service rendered...by Le Murat Staff. We’ve tried many restaurants in Paris (from casual to fine), but the experience you will have in this place is the most complete and satisfying. Staff were classy, charming, smiling, chic, fast, attentive, personal and humble. Kudos to everyone, and particularly to Sandra, Lea, Seham, Bila, Nicolas and Mario. We have been served by each one of them with excellence. Keep up the great work!More
After a great day at Roland Garros, found Le Murat nearby. With cab stand backed up we opted to eat and then go back to hotel. Great choice. Friendly service. Excellent spring roll with chicken served with lettuce and mint. Veal was tender and entree...salad was interesting.More
Velvet seating throughout, this is a comfortable place to enjoy a vibrant menu of delicious food. For starter I had oeuf poche w/ frisée which is their take on salad lyonnaise; it was very good. Main was cabillaut (black cod) with puréed potato; this dish...was perfectly prepared. Service was impeccable!More
After an extended round(s) of starters we finally graduated to an excellent main (mine was “le tigre qui pleure”), all served with the casual excellence of the Le Murat staff, service that manages efficiency with charm. Make the effort to come and sample this stylish...restaurantMore
In town to watch PSG. Three of us had a splendid lunch. I had the baked cod - perfectly cooked and served with delicious mashed potato. Both my friends had steaks. If my fish hadn’t been so good I would have been jealous.
Mouth watering...lemon cheesecake for pudding.
Staff very attentive and friendly. Good spot for football celeb spotting. Gerard Houllier was in.More
Posh layout and ornamentation, filled with the most flashy and free-spending locals in 16th on most nights. Many tourists too. Very lively on football and tennis games.
Top chariots in Paris 16th at the valet on busy nights.
Last I checked they are run by...the LeNotre group (with numerous cake and delicacy emporiums), so you get high-end food and artistry on plate. I recommend ordering things that must be made on premises for the freshest and best items. Fresh fish selection is unique and excellent preparation. Across street is another oysters and fish institution so they have heavy competition to deliver to demanding customers.
Prices are mid-high, not crazy, to bring in the repeat business from locals.
Around 250 eur for 2 with drinks and dinner and dessert.
I have eaten here around 6-10 times over the last 7 years. Christmas is very nice with gorgeous trees, lights and unique trendy decorations.More
This place is a high scale restaurant with lot of good choices and options. Service is great and waiting time not very long. It is not very far from the Parc des princes where PSG has its games, so can be crowded games days and...better book. Quality of food is high, I like salmon, their sole as well as the milanaise. Enjoy!More
