Really nice food and cocktails, and good vibes. Much smaller than I thought it would be! We sat at the bar and had the courgette and pierogi. Loved that the cocktails are named after Prince tunes!

I really loved this place. Servings are not too big, so if you are hungry don't hesitate to ask for more. Full of ginger, citronelle, soy sauce.... all asian flavours I love. Exotic salads with mango and shrimps; beef with citronelle... I'll surely come back. Decoration is simple and nice, with black boards and golden bamboos painted.

I was feeling like having some Vietnamese food while having a cocktail on a neraby bar, so when I saw that just few meters away there was a Vietnamese restaurant , I hopped in without hesitation and I shall say it was a pleasant experience. The vietnamese steamed ravioli were very good, the rest not unforgettable , still the service... More

You often get lost in the multitude of Asian restaurants that Paris has to offer. Well stop looking right now, and go enjoy a meal at Le Palanquin ! Located in the middle of the city, this restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Every dish is carefully prepared, and the taste is delicious !

The restaurant is a family-run business. Mom cooks in the back room as her adult kids take care of customers. Daughter is beautiful and dutiful as her brother clowns and jokes with clients. They unfailingly make great recommendations. Try the caramelized spare ribs if you're a meat eater. You can also indulge in 2 appetizers if your appetite is limited... More

A good choice out of the many that Paris has to offer when you've been in Paris long enough to tire of continuously eating French food. Start with the "Vietnamese style raviolis" (think dim sum), order the shrimp in "spicy sauce"(not very spicy) and save the sauce. Order the roast pork and chicken in lemongrass sauce mains and move the... More

The meal was perfect from spring rolls to dessert. Gently spiced dishes. The pork and shrimp soup with rice noodles was the best I have ever eaten. We tried several main dishes and all were beautifully prepared. But you must try the bananas flambe for dessert.

This is gem of a restaurant, especially if you are not feeling like a lot of sauces. The food here is subtly spiced, exquisitely fresh, and delightful. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We had pho, saigonaise hutieu, soupe tamarin crevettes, canard gingembre, ananas crevettes noix, and riz collant. For dessert we had beignet with fruit and coupe des... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
