It's a very old restaurant. I used to go in 1989, 3 times a week. I just went back last june. Everything was the same, nothing change. The same Chateau Brian, with the Béarnaise sauce, the same bread and the same dessert. Quality and the...More

The quintissential snooty garcon. I had a delicious meal only ruined by no doubt the same waiter experience as of 19 Dec review. Peter, by name. Absolutely appaling from go to whoa. Few patrons but no service. Decided to be amused by it despite the...More

First night in Paris and had no clue where to go. The concierge recommended it. It was awesome. Oysters were Amazing. Filet was great. French onion soup was also great. Can’t go wrong.

I first visited Vaudeville in 1987 and have visited many, many times in that eighties, nineties and the early 2000s. I had lunch at Vaudeville last week. Unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life. I booked a table, two...More

What a disappointment after many enjoyable visits to this once-traditional Parisian brasserie. We had booked a week ahead but were shoehorned into the most cramped table in front of the tlll, gruffly told to move up and sit on our coats (no cloakroom service), and...More

A simple supper comprising Foie Gras, followed by a Pork Chop, washed down with a glass of Pastis and a Pichon de Rouge. Reliable as always and just over €100!

We’d been in Paris for a weekend and had mostly eaten at marginal French restaurants, we happened on this gem and really enjoyed our time here! We started with French Onion Soup and Ravioli (both fabulous) and then had mussels for main. Again great highly...More

Ignorant service from waiter who sold us €6 champagne but wanted to charge €12. Deliberately ignored a choice of tea that was repeated back to me when ordered. Said couldn't speak English even though I was speaking French to him. And then he spoke English.

Opposite the Bourse Monaie - very popular probably good to book Rather traditional menu and surroundings. Food is effectively and efficiently prepared and served in a classic Belle Epoque dining room. Good and not too expensive wine list

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in

Situated right in the heart of Paris, the Vaudeville has built its excellent reputation on the quality of its cuisine and service. People like to come here to share traditional French cuisine and, in fine summer weather, enjoy the terrace a mere stone's throw from the Paris Bourse.
