We always done at Louis XIII at least once when we are in Paris, it is always a memorable evening! Our favorite is the Blue Lobster Main Course with the traditional fish dumplings as appetizer. A comfortable smaller restaurant with outstanding cuisine! We recommend highly!

The food here is divine – traditional French dishes of the highest quality. The Millefeuille is a must – best I have EVER had. The wine list will impress even the toughest wine connoisseur. Service was 5 star and the waiter who spoke perfect English was very helpful. Overall going for lunch is great value (especially considering this is a... More

We had a wonderful meal from start to finish and was probably one of best meals I've ever had. Their service alone puts the United States to shame, and I'm from New Orleans and grew up in the restaurant industry. The chef was very friendly and gracious. He came out several times to check on the meal and even replaced... More

The guest room is small. Staff could be more attentive. Owner/cook speaks with guests, and is competent. Duck a delight. Choice limited but good. One star Michelin celebration, a bit boring

My wife and I are avid travelers but have eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant only once or twice. Actually we do not much like formal dining, but when I read online about the history of this place, coupled with what appeared to be very reasonable prices for a Two-Star joint, we decided to spring for a Friday lunch. I'm... More

The food was beautifully presented, superb service, everything that might have been expected was provided. Nothing to fault.

Small, perfect, luxurious dining. Great, ancient atmosphere. Ravioli loaded with foie gras and lobster worked perfectly. Signature game pie was exquisite. Service personally attentive and friendly.

One of the best restaurant visits in Paris. We do visit Paris like 4-5 times per year and this restaurant was for us a great new experience. The focus was on food and in it's ingredients which means super quality and fresh performance, including seasonal dishes. Also extremely well appreciating the French cuisine at it's best. The service met really... More

The dinner menu was calm. It's like classical music, not trendy pop. 2014 Francois Villard Saint-Joseph Poivre et Sol, Rhone was paired with dinner.

We were there yesterday and spent a nice lunch time. Since non of us speaks French, waiter explain their lunch options with English. We ordered 5 course daily menu, without knowing what exactly including in this lunch set. And we get lovely truffle butter puff as welcome dish, then warming cream soup and egg soufflé as our starters. Main course... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
