This is simply one of the best restaurants anywhere. Attentive service, consistently spectacular food, and perfect atmosphere for a special dinner. This is the one "not-to-miss" restaurant in Paris.

Others have described well the ambience, furnishings and service so I'll concentrate on the food. One problem I have with Michelin star (even more 2 and 3 star) restaurants these days is that there is often such an emphasis on "innovation" that sometimes I have...More

Le Taillevent is a Michelin 2-star restaurant and a long-time classic in Paris. It's worth the expense for a special occasion. Expect to pay around US$180 to US$300 per person for the chef's tasting menu, plus the cost of wine (which ranges US$120 to US$500...More

This area is characterized by its namesake avenue

offices and presidential palaces; architecture from
19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art
