This restaurant is located very close to our apartment so we pass it a lot, but we had never tried it. When my parents came to visit we were tired and hungry after our journey from the airport so we gave it a whirl. The...More

We were looking for a local place, not touristy, with lots of atmosphere and great food. We were not disappointed. Luckily we had booked, otherwise I think we would have been turned away. My tuna steak with honey and fig sauce and ratatouille was superb....More

L’Alchimiste is located rue de Charenton in Montgallet area. It’s a safe bet for foodies and wine lovers. Servers are friendly and effiicient, the boss is enthusiastic. There’s a bistro atmosphere in the small cozy room. You can see the menu written in chalk in...More

We loved this little restaurant with very few seats in it and great staff. The dishes we had were delicious and the portions were pretty big. We had a great dinner overall, reservation are recommended, the place was packed and there are not many tables.

A group of us went there and it was delightful evening, the menu choice is broad with a selection of traditional style dishes, simply presented but copious. As far from nouvelle cuisine as you can imagine, but enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient.

Went there with a friend. There is an overuse of pesto which usually indicates a rather poor talent. It was the case . eat there with no expectations of a fooding experience. Wines are average. Friendly people tough . But I won't return nor recommend...More
