Our family group of 7 came here after two of our party recommended it having eaten here the previous year. The food was good but the atmosphere soured by the head waiter/manager who gave the impression that he was doing us a favour allowing us to eat in his (not very busy) restaurant. Perhaps he had had a bad day;... More

Walked down the hill after a late evening visit to Sacre Coeur. Actually another restaurant worker advised this place since they were closed for the night. He suggested this place if we did not want to eat "the tourist food". Did not disappoint!! Great atmosphere, nice set up and friendly staff. We were nine people with three kids. Some ate... More

Had a beautiful dinner here last night prior to a show at the moulin rouge, as it's so close by. I am gluten intolerant and the waiter was very knowledgeable about which dishes contained gluten, and helped me with menu choices. The food was absolutely delicious!!! Everything was perfect. Definitely worth a visit.

It's a very cute and cosy French restaurant, staff was super friendly and really well made food. We had the menu plaisir for 25,90e but they have also a lunch menu until 17 for about 15e on other days except Sundays. There was a good variety of options in the menu we took and in the end really loved our... More

Lovely restaurant in the Montmontre area of Paris. The staff were attentive and I loved the ambiance. The food was just okay. My husband's filet was undercooked and my steak was not a great cut (tough). The deserts were also mediocre but the potatoes au gratin and onion soup were superb. Overall a good value and wonderful experience. I'd recommend,... More

I loved the dishes, a tasty treat in the heart of Paris, good wine, prompt and smiling staff and one of the best steaks I ever had. Oh and the chocolate mousse is yummy 😊

Visited randomly while wandering through the area. When we entered the restaurant there were only a couple of other people in there but by gosh, that changed. Within 30 mins the place was full. We decided to go for the special menu - any aperitif, any starter, any main, any dessert, any coffee = 47€. I was worried as that's... More

We made our way down from sacre coeur to grab a late lunch. We didn't have a reservation and it was 2pm. I was afraid they would turn us away but they seated us and we enjoyed a great, well priced and typical French lunch. We had some sort of melon and ham to start. The melon is only found... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
