This was my first experience at a Michelin star restaurant. The food was very refined and the service was good. Atmosphere was very warm and relaxing. The crab starter was very nice and the fish main was very good as well. Not a budget meal buy any means but worth it for the experience.

This is my second visit here. But the menu is not as good as my first visit months ago. I think it is the reason of season. The entrée surprised me and my family. We all like it because we feel spring is coming. Personally, I recommend the butter most, tiny perfume herb in it, totally fresh taste. We enjoy... More

It' s a very romantic and small michelin star restaurant (around 15 tables most of them for two) in L' Hotel Paris of chef Julien Montbabut. Enterence is from the hotel' s main gate and located just after the bar. For the special days you should have reservation 1 month before. Ask for the side tables because you can better... More

This is the second time we've eaten here. This time we were staying at L'Hotel, where Le Restaurant is located. The place lives up to its title. This is the restaurant to go to if you're in Paris. The decor and ambience are perfect: intimate and exotic. The service is expert, friendly and impeccable. The food, above all, is sheer... More

We were extremely disappointed by our overall experience .We went for the 5 course tasting menu . The 1st two courses were good , but after that what followed was very disappointing . The main course & dessert in particular . We asked the sommelier to help us choose a wine , but the quality was horrible . The staff... More

This is well worth a visit. It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The staff are also very attentive. Their wine list is also mind blowing too. You can't fault this restaurant and no wonder so many famous people pop in here for a meal when they come to Paris,

Lovely setting. Attentive waiters. Disappointing food. This was one of the few occasions where I trusted Tripadvisor but felt really disappointed. We had the 5 course tasting menu and the only dish I enjoyed at all was the dessert. Everything was beautifully presented; the problem was that most of the dishes didn't taste that good. I value "delicious" over atmosphere.... More

Not sure if I should leave a review on the restaurant because we only stopped in to have a drink. The bar is gorgeous as is the restaurant, quaint, quiet, secluded right in the middle of Paris... almost like you're doing something naughty that no one will ever find out about. I ordered 'the usual', a drink devised by the... More

We visited this restaurant as a special treat on our Paris vacation, and were totally satisfied with every aspect. The seating area, with a trickling fountain and plush surroundings in a quiet room away from busy streets, put us at ease immediately. Service was very attentive but quiet and considered as befitting a top restaurant. Table presentation also top quality.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
