Delaville has changed its menu but the food is still sub standard. Luckily the decor is beautiful and the big terrasse is a mut when the weather allows..or even in the winter when it's heated. If you are not a foodie but just want a place to chill out: this is the place. Otherwise, pass your way...

This place looks fun and lively from the outside- they are seriously let down by their staff however! We waited 15 minutes for 2 coffees... in the time we were waiting we watched our server smoking on the pavement outside the cafe...not an experience I will repeat. To top it off the coffee was bitter.

This cafe was very nice from the exterior there were lots of people outside so me and my friend decided to go in and try it out as it was near to our hotel. We chose the dinner menu which was two course for £19 or something similar we ordered two starters and two mains. The cocktails we ordered were... More

Nice terrace on the boulevards. One of the first trendy bars to open in this area of Paris. Service is often quite slow but not last time I went. Good cocktails and rather trendy. Decoration inside on the right side is definitely worth having a look: it's an old restaurant which was closed for many years.

Dear Cyrills212, Thank you for this warmfull comment. Indeed, The old Marguery was a brothel in the beginning of the 20th century. We kept some of the wonderful rooms of this period. More

Waited over 40min for my order (4 pints). Eager to charge you but not to serve you. I will never come back to this shameful of a cafe.

We had a very bad experience here with a waitress. First, the wine that we ordered was not available so she proposed us to choose an another one, more expensive. As a joke we asked her if she can make it at the same price that the wine we wanted. She became really arrogant. Then, we were talking together and... More

Not sure how to describe menu-- American, French, Italian…the wait staff seems great. Food was good, not outstanding. This seemed to be about the most popular spot on the boulevard.

Our walking tour guide - Jessica of J&L - suggested we eat here after our tour finished. She said that she enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was fun. Our selection was ordinary for the two of us - club sandwich (me), a house "cobb-style" salad (my wife) and and with several glasses of wine and a couple of coffees... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
