Parisian "Chinatown" in 13th arrondissement has a large choice of Asian restaurants. Last week we wanted to try this buffet. Well it looks very modern and attractive. Dinner fixed price is 15€ except the weekend (17,50€). You have food and soft drinks. All in all is very decent. But it is not WOW. That is why I will keep trying... More

Me and my girlfriend visited this restaurant today thinking it was good. When we entered to restaurant the staff were very rude and rushed us into paying for the buffet as soon as we sat down. The sitting was very close together, we were sat with other families and couples on the same tables. We arrived at lunch time peak... More

Open buffet with a fair variety. Desserts weren't bad either. A good option if you are really hungry.

I know well that people get paid hours by hours. We arrived there in the afternoon and when the clock turned 14h30, they just KICKED US OUT of the restaurant saying it is closed now. We cannot even wash our hands or go to toilets before leaving. The food was not nice. You have the feeling that it is refrozen... More

Restaurant we have known for years but even if the food is fresh the choice is less and less wide. We had to wait to have average egg rolls and steamed appetizers came really late. The prize is going up while the quality and choice are going down. Doesn't worth a special trip in the Chinese district of Paris!

i don't know why y'all hate this place, not the first i'm having dinner and lunch here but the price is a good value and unlimited drinks (coca, coca light, sprite, ice tea, jasmin tea) if there's another chinese buffet with unlimited drinks then let me know!

Went for the dinner buffet. Serves only leftovers from lunch. Cold, congealed food, horrible! Cold, soggy fried chicken, shrivelled mussels, tough, stringy pieces of chicken and duck, only skin and bones from ham hock. Avoid.

There are so many places to eat in Paris's Chinatown. This one is very popular with the asian community. You'll often have to queue to get a table. Don't be discouraged: the service is fast and efficient and you'll find the line will go down fast. It's buzzing, but has a cafeteria atmosphere - so bring your own ambience! To... More

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighbourhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
