The food here is outstanding! Nicolas was very accommodating when we ordered three entrees and one main, making our lunch a tasting menu, in a fine dining setting. From start to finish of our three course meal we could not fault the food and drink.

We are staying next door and walked up just as the owner arrived. We asked for a "chef's choice meal" keeping in mind my wife is a vegetarian. It was an amazing meal, no course was disappointing, each building on the last! A fantastic experience

Tiny cafe across from Hotel Fabric run by chef/owners. Ask for the prix fix menu and let the chef select your dishes for the evening. You will get very personable service and food that is just out of this world. Highly recommend!!

We read about this place in Rick Steve's 2007 Paris book. It was a short walk from our hotel in Republique, so we had the hotel concierge book it on June 6, 2013. Although the ownership and chef have changed since Rick's write up, the...More

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
for coveted tickets during the day. Towards

Le Grand Mricourt in Paris 11th was born when chef Alexis Jordan met former cosmetic industry marketing director Christelle Ly in the kitchen of the Michelin-starred Plaza Athne, where they honed their love of technique, rigour and good produce. Le Grand Mericourt is the kind of restaurant they would want to eat at a simple, comfortable modern setting where the authenticity and accuracy of the cooking, quality of service, and affordability are never compromised. Written up on a chalk board, largely traditional French dishes change with the seasons, always offering some original little surprise or other, such as terrine of foie gras with fig, apricot and lime jam. Such discreet service makes Le Grand Mericourt good for dining a deux.
