I am always sceptical regarding "all you can eat" formula because of the food quality, but there for 20€ the brunch buffet is wonderful. Moreover, le Café qui parle IS located in a charming neighbourhood of Paris, Lamarck-Caulaincourt. Be careful, this place is own success, get over there early or you'll be waiting.

Had to wait a while for a table but we'll worth the wait. Friendly staff, great service and tasty food.

While looking for a place to have a diner around Monmartre, we stumbled across this place. They offer 3-course dîner for €28: entrée, main and a desert with 3 dishes to choose from in each section. + a good wine list to choose from. Tasty bread and croutons with pate are complimentary served before the meal. All dishes are elegantly... More

A lovely place for lunch. The menu-du-jour is always a good idea as is the café gourmand. The service is friendly and efficient. The place has a certain ambiance which is particularly appealing in rainy days. It is cosy and very pleasant to be at.

Had eaten here three years ago and it was wonderful. Back to Paris again and thought we could revisit pleasant memories; wrong. It was poor in so many ways, overcooked duck with an overpowering sauce, paper thin veal picatta with bland sauce. Acceptable service and okay desserts that must have been brought in from a patisserie. Just don't bother going... More

Our Parisian friend who lives in the local area recommended the little cafe after our visit in Montmartre. Excellent service, very friendly staff who were able to advise us for food/wine, we loved all the dishes - veal, 2 fish dishes, vegetarian dish and burger. Fantastic dining experience. Looks like they have more local clientele & we really enjoyed the... More

We were recommended Le Cafe qui parle by the owner of another restaurant further up the road which was full. Le Cafe qui Parle had a busy traditional menu and good wine list. The duck was excellent and the beef ribs too.

The cafe is located only two blocks north of the Mercure Montmartre hotel, and we stumbled upon it while rambling about the area. The sidewalk cafe is great for watching neighborhood residents strolling by as you unwind at the end of the day. Everything we ordered was excellent and fairly priced for the high quality. Most entrees were around 20... More

We just popped in and asked for a table and they gave us a choice of tables to pick from and served with a big smile. The staff was attentive in every way, they tried very hard to speak as much english as they could, so we try to speak the bits of French as we know and ending up... More

Had a really nice Saturday brunch here. Seemed a little pricey at first, but the brunch includes a big plate of very good quality cold cuts and cheese for each person, as well as a modest sized but very well-stocked buffet. Delicious and very filling!

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
