A La Cloche D'or became my regular and favourite dinner restaurant when in Paris April 2017. It has all the good ingredients that make the French gourmet experience. A good ambience, traditional French la carté, respectful and friendly service, affordable 2 or 3 course menus and well made tasty food. I had them all (almost): warm camembert, snails, terrine, entrecote... More

Booked for evening meal at 7.30 pm. Very pleasant surroundings. Food was delicious, service was very good. We spent the evening and were not rushed for our table in any way.

What a Fabulous, Friendly, French restaurant! This is a great restaurant with a mouth-wateringly delicious choice of French food. It is just a short walk from the Moulin Rouge, and is well worth a visit, even if like us your language skills are poor, all the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Well worth a visit.

I come for work regularly and always try a different restaurant. This is my preferite to date. Foie gras was superb. Tartare was ok. My collegue was happy with the herring starter and the curry maincourse. Creme brûlé was also nice. Not the cheapest but you expect €45/pers in Paris

We came here with my girlfriend thanks to a Wonderbox offered by a Friend. The waiter and waitress were really great, friendly yet professionals, in brief, perfect. The food was amazing, we ordered the camenbert roti and the smoked salmon fort starters and the tartare and lamb as main course, it was perfectly cooked, although maybe a bit rustic. We'll... More

We choose that restaurant suggested by our book guide of Paris, because if of the local dishes and because it is open until late in the night. A lot of good restaurants in Paris closed around 10 - 10.30. Nothing to say, good location in the Pigalle neighborhood, good place, very intimate, excellent staff, the girl who explain you the... I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is very good, quick and friendly. The food is delicious and you get a little starter with the drinks. The only thing that can be improved is the decoration of the plates (but that is minor!)

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
