The place to go for traditional French cooking: they feature most of the dishes my grand-mother used to make. I like to lunch there when I am in town, 2 or 3 times a year. The place is small and gets very full at lunch...More

We chose this place based on TA reviews and on proximity to our hotel after an exhausting day of touring. We were not disappointed. Nice comfort food at reasonable prices made fresh. Service was fantastic from owner Yvonne. Quick and hot. Desserts are house made....More

We have eaten here twice before, and both times I thought it was excellent. However, on this Friday evening i was a little disappointed with the food. Perhaps it was simply one of those nights or have things changed, it was two years ago when...More

In a very "chique" neighborhood, close to Opera and Olympia. Lot of restaurants around. Food was correct, but the place is overcrowded and the space is really small...you keep your coat on your knees while eating. I think this can work for a quick business...More

I have been there a couple of times. Good steaks and the desserts (profiteroles!) are very tasty. This is not a restaurant but for a decent meal at a resonable price (for Paris), I can only recommend.

We stopped there on recommendations, but we were so disappointed. The place is run down, the service is poor and rude. We ordered the daily specials and the steak arrived cold and was hard, the chicken with purée was also completely cold and our kids...More

My hosts had not reserved at this restaurant. We arrived at it by accident, in the middle of Friday lunchtime service, with every table occupied - and with only 40 minutes in hand to have lunch. Somehow the patron found us a table within two...More

We had a very nice dinner here - great salad and great Beef Bourguignon . Very nice lady serving and owner. Desserts were homemade and fantastic! Chocolate Mousse and Bomba Rhum.

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
