We stumbled on this restaurant by accident and it is AMAZING. Seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in my 13 years of living in Paris. Every dish was incredible and the 3 course menu for 39€ was well worth it. The ambiance...More

The place has an old world charm, cool interiors, warm service and wonderful food. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Carlo Michelstaerter was the best - a graduate student he could talk philosophy with us as well as recommend the best dishes on the menu....More

The lunch here was pleasant as was the service. I found the food a little disappointing. The three small entrees were an interesting idea but failed to impress me in the taste department. Similarly the Bresse chicken was OK but the serve was a little...More

"Cosy, Cosmopolitan", says my femme while appraising the accoutrements of this eatery. This is our favourite place to lunch after noshing on bits and bobs at the market. Bonito tartare and bbq'd leeks, radishes with horseradish, celery braised with bay leaves, green tomato preserve, watercress...More

The hot towels for our hands brought on arrival were a promising sign and the meal was excellent: a variety of tasty, interesting starters, main dishes where the meat and fish were well cooked and served with generous portions of interesing vegetables, and good desserts....More

Description
RESTAURANT After his trade with major Italian and European Chefs VALERIO UGLIANO put his pots and knives in Paris. He arrived with his second ILARIA and his sommelier MASSIMILIANO. VALERIO UGLIANO , Chef of the Gazzetta, is a young representative of the new Roman dining scene, that navigates between tradition and personal expression and gives a Italianness to the best French products, while leaving the spotlight to the likes of the kitchen trattorias. WINES An old Sicilian winemaker who Massi - our bartender and sommelier - explained what wine "nature" is (from vines conducted in bio without synthetic product without adding chemical, in manual harvest), had this surprised answer : - so, "wine" nature ", it is wine ... Normal! no ? " In his small piece of land north of Catania, he had never done otherwise. At the Gazzetta, we are serving what we like to drink: wine that leave pride to their terroir and personality of the artisans who produce them. To stick with the best kitchen Valerio, no sectarianism on the origin, when it's good, that's enough! : Italy of course, but also France, Spain, Greece, Serbia. The wine list changes to the rhythm of the menu of Valerio, it means ... very often!
