Surprised by the quality. Food tastes great. Beef thai salad was the best i've had in a while. Prices are reasonable, except maybe for the catonese rice which at €6.50 was overpriced for a side. But overall great food. Will come back and recommend.
We went there as a family for lunch without a reservation. There were so many people waiting in line inside of the restaurant. So,I asked my husband to go inside and asked for a table for four. My 2 kids and I will be waiting...outside because I don't want to cramped up the space. After my husband talked to the old man who I guess he run the the restaurant then my husband step out the line open the door and told us that we will have to wait for 20 mins. I said yes we could wait but then I had found out that the old man gave the table to the family who came after us because my husband came out to tell me to wait for 20 mins. The old man said he didn't care because my husband step out the line and that's how they runs the place. Good for him I asked my husband to call another restaurant The real THAI call Mali we spent 161 Euro on that meal! Excellent Mali Thai Cuisine.More
Amazing! We just stumbled upon this place. The flavors were amazing. We ordered the Spring Rolls, the Egg Rolls and Ginger Glazed Chicken. Amazing. We should have ordered it a little more spicy. Opps may have to go back. Tomorrow. Enjoy!
The Lao and even Thai food are very good and authentic (except for the Nem Lao which is a bit too dry); we didn’t try the Vietnamese dishes, as there are so many great Viet restaurants in the neighbourhood. Service is efficient and polite, although...it could use more smiles! Prices are reasonable. No wonder the place is always full at meal times.More
But very very worth my uber trip.. get out of Paris to have a great Asian food.. 28minutes from the city by taxi or uber.. the food and the price will compensate it plus free city outskirts view tour along the way.. if you are...Asian or love Asian food.. you really have to get out of the city and visit this place.. Try the fried Tripe.. best in the world..More
My wife and kids wanted asian food and we happened upon this gem in Chinatown. They were really hungry so we arrived as they opened at 7pm. We were immediately seated in the front window section. Surprisingly they filled all the seats by the front...windows by 7:30. I thought Europeans ate later?? We ordered and the food was really tasty.More
We went to this restaurant on a weekday during lunchtime.
Actually we had been to this restaurant a few years back when it had just renewed and was one of the few restaurants with a nicer interior design of paris s chinatown. We kept a...good impression so decided to head back.
What a terrible disapointment it was....
When we stepped in we were not even greeted. Not a smile, not a hello and the coldest face you can imagine. Since it is not uncommon in Paris s chinatown s restaurants we decided to ignore it and took a seat. After taking our seat we had a look again at the interior. Everything was now looking old and the menu which was a proper menu a few years back was now 2 pieces of plastified paper.
We started to get worried but thought that as long as the food was good the rest would not matter much.
Well food was even more of a letdown than the rest. We ordered different curries and it was all watery and even worse than what you can get at home with instant curry powder. It was really a joke for a supposedly thai restaurant. The fried rice was also terrible and was pretty much rice with salt...
Moreoever service continued to go from bad to worse with waiters clearly making you feel you were disturbing them every time you called them.
Overall it was just a horrible experience and such a letdown. I would suppose owners have changed or something because it was no longer even close to what it used to be.
We ll never come back and would advise anyone to avoid it at all cost.More

Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve
been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
