A lot of brunch offerings have come up in Paris , this one is kind of average. Cost is reasonable @ 25 Euros . Located in an interesting area of Paris

A nice place in the area of Butte aux Cailles which is a great neighborhood to have a walk and a swim in the public swimming pool. We drank a great glass of wine, got water with it. The lady serving us was very friendly...and welcoming. Made a few little chats with us and made us want to come back (no time though). The food we smelled and saw at other tables seemed to be delicious. Next time in Paris we will probably go back here to have a meal.More

Chez Nathalie is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. The food is excellent, made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. I hesitate to recommend something specific because the menu changes often, but I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered. Just recently, I had a delicious...tzatziki with lightly breaded, lightly fried spicy shrimp, followed by a kefta d'agneau, where the meat just melted into the sauce. In the past, I've had incredible desserts as well, a mi-cuit de chocolate that was perfectly cooked as well as my favorite, a light dessert with a homemade crispy biscuit, fresh raspberries, and chantilly. But I think that is only available when raspberries are available. The wine list is also every good and reasonable. The service is excellent, professional, but also friendly and warm. They have recently redesigned the dining room and it's very light and airy now. I highly recommend Chez Nathalie!More

Chez Nathalie used to be a regular place to go for an excellent meal. We lived only 10 minutes or so distant, so it was an easy choice. Once we moved, Chez Nathalie is now ~ 30 minutes walk. We decided to take that walk...this evening. So the menu is simple, with three small plate appetizers and three or four starters. I chose duck Fois Gras with smoked herring, and it was delicious. She chose a seared tuna with Tatziki, and while she did not share any of the tuna, the Tatziki was excellent (and she was NOT going to share, so I'll presume it was good, she concurs). My main dish was ground lamb meatballs served with a white bean and carrot accompanying gravy. All was delicious,I used the bread to mop the last of the gravy from the plate. Her main dish was again tuna, supposed to be mi-cuit (barely cooked, i.e. raw in the center) but it arrived cooked through. Served with a squash puree and sautéed beets. The squash was good, the beets were good and she says "they are lucky I like tuna cooked through". She at it all. Dessert choices are simple, maybe five choices. She took the delice de chocolate, a chocolate cake which was very rich served with a salted caramel sauce. I chose the Brioche Pain Perdu with pear. A thick slice of 'french toast' made with brioche, served with a sliced pear half and sesame seeds. Again, quite good. We chose a bottle of Montlobre, a Pays d-Oc white blend of Vigonier and Sauvignon which was excellent. Service is good without being overbearing. While we had made a reservation, at least this evening the house was not full. It is a small space, so unless you are just going around the corner, I'd recommend a reservation. Note that outdoor seating is offered in warm weather, in the winter there is none. Our bill was (Euro) ~110.More

Stumbled upon here by accidant, and glad we did. Small cozy testaurant, maybe 20to 25 places inside. Not very spacious, tables very close to each other. My colleague, not one of the smallest persons, was sitting on a small plastic (but design) chair literally with...his elbow on the table beside him. Just for this a rating of four instead of five. Menu is small but good. When you go for a 3 course meal you'll have more than enough. Food is delicious and the riz au lait supurb. Prices a little high but worth it.More

Arrived to a surprised hostess who had to be shown our booking in the book. When shown the table it obviously hadn't been prepared disrupting other guests. After a while sitting down I had to indicate for menus as she was on her phone. The...food burned squid with lumpy mashed potatoes (a strange combo) and a strange sweet chopped beef. That was €38 with a 20% discount (it's over priced). Payed 53 to get an even 15 in change. Was short changed and had to go back to get the right amountMore

Had a very delightful lunch at Chez Nathalie. The service was great, the food had a bit more flare than expected at the typical neighborhood bistro like this. The salad ordered for entre was spit for us to share and the two mains (lamb special...and paella risotto) were delicious. The prices are appropriate for the quality and service. A definite recommend if in the area.More

My husband and I tried Chez Nathalie on a whim and are so glad that we did. It was our favorite place to eat on our 4 day trip in Paris! The service was remarkable and the food EXCELLENT. We ordered appetizers, main courses and...desserts and all were top notch. This is definitely worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood.More

Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a
