OK this is not a trendy new restaurant, it's old school Paris. We had a very enjoyable evening with drinks (champagne) and dinner with a really good Bordeaux. Professional staff that were engaging and friendly, we didn't have any of the problems other T/A reviewers...More

Iconic because it was a hangout for Hemingway and others like him. It can accommodate large groups, which is tough to find in Paris. Our Parisian friends took us there for the experience. Food was reasonably good but service was tough to say great things...More

We heard about this iconic brasserie before. Maybe it was a good place long time ago, but now it’s really bad. Service is bad. The food is very poor quality. The ambiance is bad. Don’t go!

When we walked across the street to investigate this restaurant we weren't sure what it served as there was an illuminated sign stating American bar and restaurant and the restaurant name couldn't be easily seen behind the trees. However it proved to be a restaurant...More

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the
landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that

brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and
parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away
from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and
historical monuments and treasures. In between lie

A true Art Deco masterpiece, La Coupole is the most famous Parisian brasserie in the world. Today it is the quintessential symbol of Montparnasse's history, as well as a key component of the art of living and socialising in Paris, particularly in the 14th arrondissement.
