Stepping into this Pub is a bit like stepping back in time. Love, Love, Love the decor as it immediately transports you back to your typical pubs of the 40's and 50's. We made a stop here for some drinks and relaxation prior to dinner, and we are glad we did. Wonderful ambiance, and I would highly recommend this to... More

We were looking for a bar that we could actually sit at. Little tricky to find that here in Paris. The hotel bells man suggested Sir Winston. Short walk and close to the Arc de Triomphe. We went. My favorite thing here is their house cat. I'm going to just assume his name is Winston, if it isn't then that... More

The Sir Winston is under ownership - they say - some changes on menu, most noticeable the excellent fish and chips have disappeared, it is unfortunate. It quite expensive for lunch 25€ per person no wine - food is good staff friendly - very busy place - will have to revisit to soon to forge my opinion.

We had read that this was a good place to eat but were bitterly disappointed in our meal. My husband decided to have the cheeseburger hoping that its high cost would make it special. The sesame seed bun was tough and not easy to eat, the chips that came with it were awful, the cheeseburger itself was no better than... More

I just left the place where I had a quick stop for breakfast. Walking in, I first faced a grouchy lady at the door that she behaved more like a nightclub bouncer. Ni smile. No polite. No customer oriented. She told me to go settle myself. A colleague if hers showed a big table for four at the window. When... More

Interior very unusual, it's a bar / restaurant, plenty of staff, table service, came here for drinks and stayed a couple of hours, no rush to move you on even when food is being served, busy Parisian bar.

Try the fish and chips - very nice cod perfectly fried and tartare sauce with the usual small crispy fries.
