Had dinner here tonight with my wife. Excellent service, excellent food. We started with the escargot which came highly recommended. Absolutely tasty. We soaked up all the butter/juices with the bread they gave us. We also had the braised chicken w/ tarragon-mustard (and a little...More

What a spot! Fantastic authentic French cuisine in beautiful cosy surroundings with amazing staff! 3 courses for €49 was a bargain too, given the rich quality of the food. Hostess Jacqueline is a delight also! Their dog even came out to say hello!

Nice authentic atmosphere, great food. I've got the best desert ever. The restaurant is not cheap, but this food and service is worth every cent we spent. Strongly recommended!

Smallish old French restaurant near Place de Clichy. Manager Jacqueline is just the right amount of fun and sassy, her suggestions were perfect. The best coquille st. jacque and fois gras we have ever had (and we've eaten many places in Paris). If you are...More

This restaurant is somewhat tucked away on a side street,it is certainly worth the effort to find. A really warm welcome awaits. The food is excellent and very well presented. We had the two course early menu, good value with a glass of wine included.

The food is exquisite. The atmosphere sublime. The menu is limited and therefore, not intimidating. Just take Jacqueline’s advice. (She is a treasure.). Relax. Enjoy. Bon appetit!

On entering the restaurant one is somewhat apprehensive. It is old fashioned so one is not going for its atmosphere or a modern decoration. Being in a crowd or family it does not matter. The welcome was warm the service excellent and the food of...More

This restaurant is everything you want when visiting Paris, traditionally french in every way from the menu to the service and decor. The manager of the restaurant Jacqueline, treated us like locals. The food was excellent, no wonder the locals try and keep it quiet!

Thanks for those keen and kind words. You are quite right, we are suffering from the syndrome of "I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT"! Anyhow, next time you are coming in, please let yourself known Mr Artkuntz. Regards Michel Bonnemort

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the

Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy

Michel has reenacted an old Parisian restaurant where under the supervision of Rosalie he elaborates some of the best French traditional dishes such as: crayfish tails gratine with Macon blanc-Terrine of foie gras served with tiny potatoes brushed with truffle olive oil, fresh shives and flower salt from “guerande”- Veal breast with thyme, slowly braised 48 hours at °F145 - Heart of veal sweetbread Alexander style. Icing on the cake, is the home made Pastrami noted 4 stars by American patrons of the restaurant. The "he Man"pieces of meat are carved in front of the patrons. Michel signs all his recepies inherited or inspired by his forbears, some of them being dishes requiring lots of tender loving care.
