This is not a tranquile place. Waters run around - stressed. I did wait 10 minutes to place my order. The waitress returned - she had forgot which wine i wanted. She forgot more - the steak i did order medium well did come in medium rare. So no. One does not relax in this stressed restaurant.

So glad we decided to return to this favorite restaurant of ours after two years of having greatly deteriorated in food and service. They now have a new chef, excellent menu choices again. Superb staff and lovely old time hosts.

This restaurant location is close to our hotel in Rue des Capucines, it was a bit late for a dinner when we arrive (it's Halloween night) and we have an option to seat at the 2nd level of the restaurant by the window and had a nice view of the boulevard. The staff who gave the menu was very polite... More

Had a nice dinner with traditional taste. They offered good wines for a glass as well. As per my experience, all the staffs were friendly and eagerly served me in English.

My wife and I thought this would be a nice place to eat. We chose a table and sat and waited for approx 15 - 20 minutes, the waiter eventually arrived with the menu, I very politely asked for an English menu, he seemed very annoyed by this request and left without saying a word... And so did we.

Had a great meal at a reasonable price (comparing it to Australian restaurant prices), service was great, staff friendly and spoke English. Well worth a visit if you are in this area

Close to the major department stores and very good plat de jour choices each day. Menu offers a pretty good selection of seafood and meat.

Came to Paris for 50th birthday celebrations. Came across this place . The food was exquisite and the service very friendly if you are prepared to engage and try your French. Asked for recommendations for wine and desert and both were spot on. Would totally recommend

Thank Zoesim

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
