We enjoyed our dinner here. If this was Nepalese, then it's very different than in Finland. Hosts had ok English skills and English menu too. Fast delivery , everything was as ordered. Warm feeling.

This was a really nice change from our usual sushi or italian restaurants. This small restaurant is very warm, with a welcoming staff. The cuisine was also a nice surprise, both very different and close enough that you won't risk unpleasant surprises (except maybe the rice beer... ^^') ps: to the question "is this restaurant good for dining on a... I had dinner here on a busy December evening and was dining solo. The owner/manager gave me a great table right by the window -- it was the best table in the house. This place gets five stars for beautiful ambiance and nice service (no discrimination against a solo diner on a busy night; I had made a reservation at... More

Just up the side street from Jussieu, a major metro/transit hub and by University Pierre and Marie Curie ( Paris 6 Sorbonne - science ). Healthful food choices and plentiful. Small seating - maybe 25. Filled up and all stayed for the lunch 1.5 to 2 hours.

I went there with my girlfriend, she is a vegeterian. I´ve had Nepalese food before, made by Nepalese for me and my friends. That food was some of the most tasteful I´ve had, and it was very spicy. Both me and my girlfiend thought there was something missing in the food at Kathmandu, the spices was missing. The service was... More

The meal variety was good, buffet had some nice choice and all nepalese food. Unlike what the clown nouglytourist is saying who doesnt know s.... about why its brass, the decoration and the brass items are very authentic nepali and very clean. However, its way pricey for the food they serve.

We were given a Wonderbox for Christmas in 2013 and decided to use it before it expired. It was for a romantic dinner for 2. We chose this restaurant because we wanted to try Nepalese cuisine. Big mistake! When we arrived one of the servers mumbled something about our reservation and, then, turned away abruptly to head to the back... More

Went there on a Saturday night and only people in the place. Staff didn't seem too interested and dishes were acceptable, but didn't satisfy. Mint tea was the best part of the meal.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
