We booked a table here via l'imprevu's own webside and I am very happy we decided to go to here. From arriving to leaving I felt we had been served by a very professional and attentive team of men and women who took pride in their work. The food prepared and presented by the chefs, who we could see working... More

We ate indoors due to the chill. We both ordered the swordfish (espadon) that had been steamed and was served on a bed of spicy zucchini. First course had Spanish ham with eggplant ragout and cream. Looked beautiful and tasted marvelous. Small, but a great location in the square above the underground garage midway between the Temple of Diana (originally... More

Sat outside in the sun .... service was great as indeed was the food. 2 course a la carte .... couldn't fault it in anyway. Washed down with a bottle of house rose. Would like to spend an evening next time we visit. Go try for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Sunday lunch may have been special (it was more expensive than during the week) but the plates were works of art and the food absolutely delicious. The house wine was very good, from the Nimes region. The restaurant is small and intimate. We were the only tourists there, which means that it was special for Nimes residents as well, always... We visited here after reading good reviews and it being recommended by our hotel concierge. We did book which we would recommend as this meant we did not have to wait for a table. The food was delicious with very generous portions and it was all expertly cooked. The service was a relaxed pace which really suited us as we... More

Went for a family dinner and was told on booking that "they only had space in the patio" - this sounded ominous... We ended up sitting outside on the pedestrian square, v pleasant on a hot summer's evening (I took a quick look at 'the patio' and understood the inference above - a bit stuffy/claustrophobic on a hot day). Food... More

Really would recommend this restaurant. There is a small seasonal menu with a daily changing 3 course menu. I had the vegetarian risotto and it was sublime! I am not even a vegetarian. Everything was made with fresh products. If I ever visit Nîmes again, I will return to this restaurant.

Really happy with this place. We ate there twice and both times excellent. We had the daily menu which we found to be a very good deal. It's fairly sophisticated food at a very reasonable price. Perhaps the house wine wasn't great - we'd pick one from the carte next time. Great ambiance as well on a pretty square, and... More

I enjoyed lunch and was nicely surprised by how fresh the food was and how friendly the staff was! Worth stopping if you're looking for a very nice restaurant in the area :)
