Fellow Trip Advisor reviewers sold me on idea of this place being the ideal a la fresco dining experience in Rocamadour and they had pitched it absolutely spot on. Great location and excellent food choices, even if you opted for the menu de jour like we did. Being France I decided to opt for my standby fail safe choice, duck... More

We saw this place en route to Rocamadour. Thought it ideal as it has a lovely appearance and a play park for children. We decided to leave Rocamadour earlier than planned to go back and eat here. We arrived at 18:15. It appeared open, and there were staff there, but we were told they weren't opening until 19:15(!). A little... More

Nice restaurant outside Rocamadour, so enough parking-space... Best is sitting on the terrace where you have the impression of being in the woods. Regional cuisine with good quality/price. Friendly personnel. Sometimes large bus-groups of tourists visiting Rocamadour will have dinner, but they are easily accommodated inside.

I saw some people wrote that it was walkable from Rocamadour, but we drove here, after having had duck and foie gras and were looking for a simpler meal, although you can still find foie gras and duck here. Kids menu around 10 euros, adults around 20 onwards, beer available, grilled trout or lamb or duck or pork, fresh salads,... More

Beautifully dressed salads, generous portions and friendly ambience. Their foie gras is delicious! Their gesiers salad, although doesn't look appetizing, it is to die for!

Location, location, location, as they say - Le Roc is just outside the limits of the hurly-burly of Rocamador. It is geared up for families with children, and bus groups. The staff are professional and very friendly, and tolerant of 4 year old curiosity. It is basically a grill restaurant. The menu is basic - we had lamb, and it... More

We were two couples looking for lunch. We tried to translate the French menu and the waitress then bought us an English version. Beautiful area, good location. We wanted something not touristy. Their set menu had three courses with a cheese course between the main and dessert, and all for 19 euros each. We chose a duck pate with salad... More

Visited here with our family whilst on our annual family holiday. We are a family of 5. The food was of a very high standard and really tasty & the staff where helpful too. We asked could someone translate the french menu to which they produced an English version. There is also a little farm park which the kids loved... More

Very nice location. We took the menu and after a nice salad the main course (trout and lamb) was a bit disappointing. It was not bad, but the trout had no seasoning and a grilled tomato as vegetable is hardly completing a meal. Deserts were OK.

We stopped by looking for something quite simple for lunch. The menu was fine, although the food wasn't cooked the way we asked. I wasn't impressed with the wine, or the selection, but the staff were friendly and there were plenty of children running around. Perhaps more suited to families.
